He almost laughed. "Why would my son inherit it?"
His voice became firm. "My daughter built that empire herself. Naturally... she'll be the one to inherit it."
He leaned slightly forward. "And more importantly, who exactly are you to decide her future? Don't act as though we're already family."
Theo's smile slowly disappeared. He stared at Adam before speaking in a disappointed tone.
"You truly are an example of poor upbringing."
His eyes carried obvious contempt.
"This is precisely why I've always believed... that proper nurturing determines a person's future. Listen carefully."
Theo slowly leaned back against the luxurious leather sofa, crossing one leg over the other as though he were delivering an unquestionable truth.
His lips curled into a smug smile.
"Since the day you're born, if you aren't taught properly..."
He looked at Adam with open contempt. "...you'll end up becoming a low-quality male like yourself."
