The intense light and shockwave from the explosion disrupted Godzilla's senses, making it momentarily lose sight of Emperor Kong.
Taking advantage of the moment, Emperor Kong landed behind it, gathered energy in its mouth, and fired a concentrated energy beam—striking Godzilla's jagged dorsal fins!
The gamble paid off. Godzilla's dorsal fins were among its most vital organs—Supreme MUTO had exploited the same weakness before.
Back during the battle at France's Athena II Nuclear Plant, Godzilla was injured (and executed a tactical retreat). Later, in the final clash atop the Mountain, Supreme MUTO had shattered Godzilla's dorsal fins with its ultrasonic "Sonic Roar."
That attack not only stunned other Titans—it could directly damage Godzilla's internal organs. But for other Titans, it merely caused temporary dizziness. Only Godzilla suffered critical hits from it.
It was a phenomenon of wave resonance—the frequency of Supreme MUTO's roar perfectly aligned with the resonance of Godzilla's dorsal fins, making it an anti-Godzilla weapon. Nature really was full of surprises.
Now, Emperor Kong's blast destroyed the key conduit for Godzilla's energy flow. With its dorsal fins damaged, Godzilla's internal energy circulation was thrown into disarray.

Driven into full madness, Godzilla lunged and bit down at Emperor Kong.
Kong raised both arms to grip Godzilla's jaws apart, while its other two arms pounded away at Godzilla's massive body.
At that moment, Chang Wei suddenly tossed a large metal rod to Emperor Kong.
Flailing wildly, Emperor Kong just happened to grab the rod—and immediately shoved it straight into Godzilla's throat!
The sudden and unexpected move left Godzilla completely stunned. It didn't even know how to respond.
Worse still, with its dorsal fins shattered, Godzilla couldn't unleash its atomic breath.
Now Emperor Kong had found a method to restrain Godzilla—gripping the metal rod tight, it rammed it further into Godzilla's throat with all its strength.
Godzilla tried to clamp its jaws shut, but Emperor Kong held them open with sheer force.
Had Godzilla not been so strong and thrashing around wildly, Emperor Kong would've done what it did to those Skull Island tyrannosaurs—go in for a "kiss," grab the tongue, and rip it out.
But Godzilla was no Skull Island dinosaur that could be manhandled. Its enormous size represented overwhelming power. Even though Emperor Kong was immensely strong, it couldn't overpower Godzilla—it could only just barely keep up.
Godzilla was in unbearable pain. Unable to hold back, it erupted. Its not-yet-fully-regenerated dorsal fins glowed a brilliant blue—then suddenly, a barrage of radiation beams shot out!
These weren't traditional atomic breaths but rather dispersed radiation streams. Still, their power was overwhelming. The dazzling rays swept in all directions, blanketing the battlefield.
Emperor Kong, positioned at Godzilla's front, wasn't hit by the dorsal emission.
But Godzilla wasn't aiming to attack Kong with the beams—it was using them for propulsion!
With the recoil from the radiation jet, Godzilla managed to overpower Emperor Kong completely!
The price? Godzilla's mouth began to emit white smoke.
Forcing out radiation through still-damaged fins caused its internal temperature to spike, and its mouth began to melt.
"ROAAARRR!!"
With a roar, Godzilla bit through the metal rod in its throat and lunged at Emperor Kong's neck.
Crushed under the massive weight of Godzilla, Emperor Kong was pinned like a crab under a boulder—completely immobilized.
Fortunately, Emperor Kong had four arms. Otherwise, if Godzilla had bitten its throat, it might've been crippled—or worse.
Skull Island, ravaged by the two colossal beasts, was now sinking even deeper into the sea.
Watching all this, humanity couldn't help but feel heartbroken—Devil Fruits, and the rumored Divine Treasure... Who knew if they'd ever be recovered now?
Why hadn't "God" stepped in to stop Godzilla yet?

Emperor Kong's heartbeat was growing more and more intense. The surrounding seawater was trembling so violently that it couldn't get near them.
And with the two Titans now pressed so closely together, every beat of Emperor Kong's heart caused Godzilla's body to vibrate as well!
Godzilla's internal organs were extremely durable—after all, it survived the crushing pressure of the deep sea.
But even the strongest organs couldn't endure resonance at the wrong frequency.
