Chapter 694 - Chapter 911: Yveltal

Julian looked at Watano with some disdain; this guy backed down way too fast. Lyle only said one sentence, and he immediately admitted defeat.

He really had thought just now that Watano would fall out with Lyle for the sake of Babath.

But in the end, he came out with a "I wouldn't dare."

Watano: 'You have no idea how ruthless this guy is.'

"Lyle, if you kill us, our countries will definitely not let your organization off. Even if you can summon Yveltal, how many times can you summon it? I don't believe you can command a First-class Legendary without any backlash like Champion Walker."

If Yveltal was just a one-time summon, then after Lyle uses this trump card to kill the dozen or so Champions here, hundreds of Pseudo-Champions, as well as all the participants and the entirety of Babath's population.

His actions would undoubtedly provoke outrage from countries around the world, then no matter what, the Y Organization would be eradicated.

Even if Lyle could still summon Yveltal by then, so what?

Drakoria, Volkaria, and Celestria—these three nations were not without the protection of First-class Legendaries. If you killed their Champions and participants, under such circumstances, the three nations would surely unite to take you down.

They could summon three First-class Legendaries. No matter how strong your Yveltal was, it would be useless.

"No need to worry about that," Lyle said with a smile.

Then he walked over to Saori, leaned down, and whispered in her ear, "It's time to begin, my saintess."

Saori nodded expressionlessly, then took out a dagger. Under the stunned gazes of everyone, she plunged the dagger into her own heart.

After the dagger pierced her heart, Saori even smiled faintly at Julian and the others. Such a bizarre scene sent chills down the spines of some Champions.

Then with a thud, Saori collapsed to the ground, and blood quickly dyed the floor.

At this moment, the originally gray sky was suddenly filled with countless streams of black gas. The gas converged rapidly from all directions, gathering densely.

Everyone was drawn to this strange phenomenon.

No one made a move. First, they didn't know what would happen if they did. Second, the Champions felt a sense of threat emanating from the black gas.

As the black gas gathered more and more, within seconds, it all coalesced into a black cocoon.

[Cocoon of Destruction: A cocoon nurturing Yveltal, requiring the soul of a God's Attendant to revive.]

The soul of a God's Attendant? What exactly was that?

Julian searched for it in the system shop and quickly found an explanation for the item "soul of a God's Attendant."

[Soul of a God's Attendant: One in hundreds of millions, God's Attendants were known as Servants of God in ancient times—servants of the First-class Legendaries. Using their souls, any First-class Legendary can be summoned, and the summoner need not pay any price.]

What was this supposed to be? A special physique?

Julian was momentarily stunned. The God's Attendant sounded impressive, but it was merely a sacrificial offering to summon a First-class Legendary.

However, by using this offering, the summoner could avoid any side effects. In other words, Lyle would be able to command the First-class Legendary, Yveltal without any cost.

Who knows how this guy managed to find Saori, a God's Attendant? According to the system, God's Attendants were one in hundreds of millions. Given their rarity, even with the global population combined, there were probably only a dozen or so.

That was far fewer than even the number of Champions.

Moreover, this constitution likely had no means of detection, and certainly no one knew such a constitution even existed.

If not for the system, Julian definitely would have been in the dark as well.

"A God's Attendant—how did you find her?"

Julian looked at Lyle with curiosity.

Saori's soul on the ground had already been absorbed by the Cocoon of Destruction.

"As expected of the youngest Champion—you even know about the God's Attendants. This is knowledge passed down through generations of our organization."

"As for how I found Saori, this God's Attendant... let's just say it was divine guidance that led me to encounter her by chance."

Lyle gazed fervently at the Cocoon of Destruction suspended in mid-air. As Saori's soul was absorbed, cracks began to appear on the surface of the cocoon.

With each crack, pitch-black death energy seeped out, swirling around the cocoon.

A single wisp of this death energy could annihilate a Champion-level Pokémon.

The unique pressure of a First-class Legendary also emanated from the Cocoon of Destruction.

Under this pressure, all the Champions were rendered immobile.

Below First-class Legendaries, all were equal. Unless you were a First-class Legendary yourself, even a peak Champion would be utterly powerless.

The Champions didn't even dare breathe too loudly now, let alone the spectators. Many spectators had already fainted under this pressure.

And this was merely from the slight leakage of Yveltal's aura, before it had fully awakened.

---

> "We're done for, we're really done for!"

> "Yveltal is a First-class Legendary that represents death. I remember learning about it in my elementary school textbooks."

> "Champion Walker can't even summon Kyogre right now..."

> "Damn, the higher-ups need to come up with a solution fast! Even though I don't like Babath, if everyone there dies, could we be next?"

> "Good thing I didn't manage to get a ticket."

> "Even that brain-dead fan of Champion Walker has gone quiet. Seems like they've given up on him."

> "My husband will figure something out, don't you worry."

> "Worry your ass! I'm right here at the scene! The guy next to me has already fainted from fear, and I've pissed myself!"

---

It wasn't just netizens from Drakoria—people all over the world were worried. If no one stopped Yveltal, and it really destroyed Babath, their own nations could be next.

As the cracks on the Cocoon of Destruction multiplied, a sharp crack echoed through the air, and fragments began to fall away.

Then a curled-up creature appeared before everyone.

The next second, the creature abruptly stretched out its body, revealing a bird-like Pokémon. Its wings and the broad edges of its tail were adorned with five claws each. Black antler-like structures extended from its blue eyes, one part curving sharply forward while smaller prongs faced backward. A collar of gray, ring-like feathers encircled its neck and extended to its back.

Its body stood about six meters tall, predominantly colored in red and black.

"Yveltal! Yveltal! Ahahahaha!"

Lyle's expression was a mix of extreme ecstasy and madness, his gaze burning with fervor as he stared at Yveltal hovering in the air.

This was the First-class Legendary worshipped by their organization. Except for the founding leader, none of the subsequent leaders had ever laid eyes on it until their deaths.

But he, as the seventh leader, had not only witnessed Yveltal but had personally summoned it into existence.

At this moment, an overwhelming sense of accomplishment flooded his heart.

In stark contrast to Lyle's frenzy, the Champions wore expressions of utter despair—Yveltal had truly been summoned by Lyle.
