Chapter 786 - Chapter 1003: Mark

When Julian finished his bath, much of his exposed skin was flushed red—not because the water was too hot, but entirely due to being scrubbed by Slowking with a brush.

If not for Julian's relatively thick skin, he might have been scrubbed raw by Slowking.

When Julian returned to the backyard, Regigigas was gone, which startled him slightly. He quickly asked Love beside him, "Where's Regigigas?"

Love pointed toward the small forest in the backyard, indicating that Regigigas had gone there.

"What's it doing there?"

Julian muttered to himself before hopping onto Arcanine and riding toward the forest.

Upon reaching the forest, he discovered a massive temple. And inside, sure enough, Regigigas was sitting on a temple chair, having fallen into a deep slumber.

Good grief—without saying a word, it had gone to sleep at his house.

Julian's backyard was quite expansive, encompassing the forest and even the small hills beyond, all part of his property.

He took a photo of the slumbering Regigigas.

Opening his social media profile, he uploaded the photo with the caption: Goodnight, my friend.

As he walked out of the temple, the three Regis descended from the sky.

Though they had no heads and no eyes, Julian could still sense their anger.

It wasn't because he had taken their Lord away, but because he had left them behind when he did.

Feeling the resentment radiating from the three Regis, Julian felt a bit awkward—he truly had forgotten about them at the time.

"Regigigas has already fallen asleep. Would you three like to come with me?"

After all, they were three peak Champion-level Pokémon. Working together, their sealing move could even make weaker First-class Legendaries think twice. If they joined him, he'd gain yet another trump card.

Faced with Julian's offer, the three Regis ignored him completely and marched straight into the temple.

'Alright then.'

Julian shrugged.

Since Regigigas was already asleep, Julian naturally didn't want to disturb it. He climbed onto Arcanine—but the dog didn't move.

Looking over, he saw Arcanine curiously peering into the temple.

"Stop staring—it's already asleep," Julian patted the dog's head.

"Arf~"

Arcanine: "It destroyed my scent mark. Can I mark it again? It's asleep anyway."

He had always known his dog had been bold since it was little—but he had never expected it to be this bold, actually daring to pee on a First-class Legendary.

Believe it or not, the moment you lifted your right leg, Regigigas would just smack you halfway into next week.

"Let's go. From now on, without my permission, you are absolutely not allowed near this place."

Julian slapped Arcanine irritably and issued a warning.

Arcanine: "Oh…"

It sounded a little disappointed.

His dog had always been obedient. Once Julian gave an order, it would comply—with just one exception: marking territory.

When he returned home, his parents, grandfather, and grand-uncle had already arrived.

"Where's Regigigas?" Jake asked impatiently.

John and the others also looked at Julian expectantly.

"It's asleep in the forest. Go take a look if you want," Julian pointed toward the woods in the backyard.

"Why did it fall asleep so soon? Couldn't you have made it stay awake a little longer?"

Hearing this, Jake was exasperated. He'd had a great fishing haul today but gave it up just to see Regigigas, only to be told it was already asleep.

"I'm tired. I'm going to bed," Julian yawned and headed straight upstairs.

"This unfilial brat!"

Seeing Julian ignore him and go upstairs, Jake grew even angrier.

If not for John being present, he would have certainly reminded him exactly why he was the father and Julian was the son.

"Forget it. Let's go take a look first. We can have someone stationed here to keep watch afterward," John said, shaking his head.

So the whole family went to the temple, taking a bunch of photos of the slumbering Regigigas.

Afterward, John arranged for the military to station some personnel to guard the temple.

After all, if left unguarded, there would definitely be people who didn't value their lives sneaking in.

"Dad, is it safe for Julian to keep Regigigas at home? Should we move?" Jake expressed his worry.

Even though Regigigas seemed friendly with Julian now, what if something went wrong in the future? Or what if it was controlled by a human, like how Yveltal was awakened and commanded by the leader of the Y Organization?

Having Regigigas sleeping nearby definitely carried some risks.

"Move? Move where? If you want to move, move by yourself, you coward! My dear grandson isn't afraid—what are you scared of?"

John smacked Jake on the back of his head.

'You're already a Champion—how can your courage be so small?'

Jake felt a bit aggrieved—it wasn't that he was cowardly, he just feared his family getting hurt.

"Right—what about the Primal Secret Realm? We absolutely can't let anyone enter. That's something my dear grandson has worked himself half to death to bring back."

"Whoever dares to be the first to step inside—I'll make sure they regret it!"

John looked toward James, his expression faintly murderous.

"Relax, I sent Duke and William over immediately, and there are military forces stationed all around," James said calmly.

Still, John wasn't entirely reassured.

"No, I'm going to guard it myself. My grandson's belongings—no one else is allowed to touch them."

With that, he mounted his Skarmory but didn't fly off immediately. Instead, he hovered mid-air, staring at Jake.

Jake asked, confused, "Dad, why are you looking at me?"

"Aren't you coming with me?"

John's tone was clearly laced with anger.

Seeing this, Jake immediately summoned his Salamence. If he didn't go now, he'd probably get a beating—and at nearly fifty years old, getting smacked in front of his wife would be pretty embarrassing.

---

Over the sea near Haitian City.

The Primal Secret Realm stood silently on the water's surface, emitting a soft, gentle white glow. Pale golden patterns adorned its frame, adding an elegant touch.

Standing guard at the entrance were the former strongest Champion of Drakoria, Duke, and the civilian Champion, William.

Surrounding them were dozens of naval vessels, while the skies were filled with a large number of aerial units.

Under such tight security, not to mention people—even a fly wouldn't be able to sneak in.

Duke stared at the Secret Realm before him. He could step right in—and of course, he was tempted. But he knew that if he truly stepped inside, the Aldridge family and the Walker family would become sworn enemies.

Beside him, William was also tempted.

Faced with the never-before-seen Primal Secret Realm, any normal trainer would be tempted, let alone Champions standing at the pinnacle.

At the Champion-level, every bit of progress required immense time and resources.

Exploring a brand-new Secret Realm was the best way to boost one's strength—bar none.

Both Duke and William knew very well: if they entered this Primal Secret Realm and managed to come out alive, their strength would undoubtedly improve—perhaps even make a qualitative leap.
