Principal Luther was shocked.
"We really made the right choice making him the chief commander. Fortunately, I didn't let my pride cloud my judgement. We would have messed up big time," he mused inwardly.
He faced the holographic screen. Kailen was the only composed person in the Central Command conference room.
The other tacticians assisting him were even shocked.
"That's to be expected," Luther muttered to himself.
"Our work here can be considered done, right?" he asked Kailen.
Kailen replied, "Yeah. You can go ahead and extract the blood and we will proceed from there. I need to contact the assassins and see how they are making use of the info provided by the Intelligence unit to their advantage. Sir, kindly try to extract the blood and vacate the oceans as soon as possible. After that, let's hand over assassin division's portion to them."
"Noted," the principal replied.
The holographic screen dimmed and disappeared.

The Central Command conference room was now quiet.
