The crowd didn't leave.
Even after Hanseong had gone, most of them stayed where they were, lining the walls of the old garage, talking over each other about what they'd just seen. Somebody was trying to act out the moment Jin had blocked a blade behind his own head without looking. Somebody else was arguing that Hanseong would have won if he'd had a bigger room.
Jin found a jug of water by the door and drank half of it in one go.
When he lowered it, Ryu was standing beside him, arms folded, watching the empty floor with a strange look on his face.
"You okay?" Jin asked.
"I'm fine," Ryu said. He rolled his shoulders. "I just spent the last ten minutes standing still while two people went at it in my own training room." He flexed his fingers. "My hands are itching."
Jin looked at him. Then he looked across the room, to where Yerin was still standing by the door with Yuna at her side, her pale face calm and unreadable.
An idea came to him.
"You want a fight?" Jin asked.
