Written with laughter and pure joy like spring
But I forgot in autumn it would all have to fall
From bright laughter and candle light dinners
To dim lights and lonely showers
From moments in time that felt divine
Came moments that felt like love could be redefined
It was the universe's greatest trick, wrong person right time
A story that started out aligned with love at it's prime
To end up bittersweet with passionate moments and broken smiles
A love that could only be titled as vile
That was us and we thought it was fine
That every love story had it's trial
But it wasn't a trial it was the end
Of a broken love that wouldn't mend
