-->Shore

Zarita's eyes fluttered as she realized she had been unconscious for a long time. Her face was chilly on the bottom-to-left side which was sticked to the ground.

The clashing sounds of waves could be heard by Zarita as she jolted awake looking around here and there. She was asleep on a smooth rock with sharp facets shining with a hidden glimmer. The faces of the smooth rock were large enough to not let Zarita fall off and be wounded from it.

She pressed her palm on her knee, her fingertips were like cold beads that were trying not to resist the cold and stood up.

"Where am I?" She muttered inwardly as her gaze fell everywhere. It was a dark place stretching englessly into the dark mist of unknown carrying a leisure visibility. She was standing near the shore where water was seperated from land. The sea extended far away on a behemoth scale.

Huff!

She caught her breath and took long cold breathing to relax her mind. She sat beside the rock, patting on the shiny surface to see if it was too cold or acceptable. Then, she sat there, bending one of her knee hugging it to her chest, she placed her chilly fingers below her chin as she was thinking about the house she just broke out of.

I kicked the pot, fell outwards. The debris even wounded me...—

She sensibly brought both of her hands close together joining the coldness in them and rubbed them together, faster. She nimbly brought them over her face and closed her eyes. Feeling the warmth she slowly removed her hands and looked at them closely trying to find if there was anything wrong. There wasn't. A releif.

Where am I? My way...I remember that the fairy said something like this back then to describe my exact path.

'The moment you step in the realm with this intent. You'll be slowly sent near the altar. As if, it is seeking you, curious about you, slowly and dearly attracting.

She moved her feet and walked and suddenly checked under her wrist.

Phew!

"It's still here." That was an rose emblem Hein gave her before leaving as a sign of good luck and charming livelihood.

She ran her fingers through her crimson hair flowing from the winds coming from the direction of sea as she untied the emblem and held it in her hands.

The 8-petaled rose with petals of different sizes forming a full circle. The red in centre and crimson on the edges gave it a ethereal look.

She looked around and then attached the emblem on her bosom then began moving. She hopped down from the rock and went near the water.

The water looks clean...

She dipped her hand and flowed it here and there until she was satisfied. Even though one couldn't feel hunger or thirst in this realm she had a feeling of trying a little bit of water, just a sip.

She joined her hands and lowered her head as her hair obscured her vision and even dipped in water. Instead of drinking it she carressed her hair with a gentle stroke as the water flowed down in beads from her face.

Her lips bobbed up as she again took some water and drank it.

"It's sweet, like sugar." Sugar...

A memory... she remembered something from long ago in her previous life.

She and her brother used to fantasize about a sea of sweets and sugar.

It was a dream back then...only if he was here.

She then pounded her fist in her heart to brush of the feelings and stood up. Looking at the sea, a smile, an melancholic one drew over her face.

As if her body froze there, she wanted to look at the ocean again and again.

Her immovable gaze penetrating through the mist saw something beyond the fog and haze, there was a colossal being. It's outline was blurred so the form couldn't be deciphered. It was the moment she felt chills shock her body constantly.

Should I run? But it doesn't seem harmful. Maybe I'm underestimating it.

The colosal being was nearly as high as the sky.

The two glowing eyes tore through the fog and mist and the gaze landed on Zarita. The world seemingly froze for her as she was deep dived in the aura of it.

Then a humming sound came, like a melody. The humming came from the colossal being, as slowly it was fading away in the fog.

The melody put Zarita to calmness, a peace of mind that rejected every distraction. Her eyes couldn't be shaken away from the being as her body was possesed by the humming.

Her heart was throbbing in the rhythm with the humming as she could clearly hear the blood flow near her ear yet she remained still.

Her eyes slowly...and slowly welled up. A tear, a bead of unspoken feelings, a nectar closed off of emotions went down her cheek and was absorbed by her collar-piece of dress.

Slowly the tears were increasing in rate as Zarita's cheeks were miserably twitching and her brows were arching-upwards.

Snort!

Her lips bobbed up and her fingers dug in her palm. As the tears dropped, the emblem charm on her chest faintly glowed. She suddenly came back to her senes looking at herself.

Sweating and crying, she slapped her cheeks moderately and then washed her face up with the water. Some water went in her mouth as the sweet with some tears mixed in them gave an irregular taste. She then started pacing on the border of shore in order to reach somewhere.

She timely gazed at the sea, her emblem and then her palm. She remembered how her brother and she together made their own palm-reading method. She then started reading her own palm.

She suddenly lampooned inwardly realising she and her brother never actually completed it. They just randomly made guesses.

She couldn't help but chuckle as she walked beside the shore only to finally reach a strange path that was leading anyone walking on it straight into the deep mist and fog of unknown with the gravity of fear densely increasing.
