Everyone wants what they can't have.
It's a human thing to be drawn to what they feel challenges them, to go for the hunt, and when they conquer it, they move on to the next, and the whole game starts all over again. It's in human nature to be prey and predator. It's human nature to want to chase after what it doesn't understand yet, what it deems interesting, because something has to give in this chronically boring life.
And when the prey is devoured, the story ends.
I have always felt like the prey. I have wanted to think I am the predator, that I am the one chasing, hunting, but it has never been that way. I am always the one being hunted down, someone wanting to have a bite and taste me.
A part of me liked it; hell, I made a career out of it. To be the untouchable, the unattainable ice queen, but I am not a queen nor icy. I am just one boy who always bites more than I can chew. Who is always overestimating my worthiness.
