Chapter 276 - Chapter 274: You Really Never Learn Your Lesson

After obtaining the Kryptonite, Kino made a trip to Kahndaq, and things there were developing quite well.

Huru had also successfully gained the power of Shazam and was ready to relinquish it.

However, Kino told him to keep it for now.

After wrapping up matters there, Kino turned his attention to Ra's al Ghul and asked,"Ra's al Ghul, do you intend to stay here, or return with me?"

"Leader, I'd like to remain here," Ra's responded, his gaze fixed on the city before him. He had poured his heart and soul into this place.

After the League of Assassins took over all the assets of the Court of Owls, they had completely dominated the underground world. Their influence was now at its peak, and they had even planted agents among government officials across nations.

"Alright, but don't plunge this world into chaos," Kino warned.

Marvel's Earth was about to enter the interstellar age.

The League of Assassins was no longer as important in that context, so staying behind to expand influence in the DC world was fine.

"Yes, and what about the Justice League?" Ra's hesitated before asking.

"As long as they're alive, do whatever you want—just one thing: don't touch their families," Kino replied.

He didn't linger there long before returning to the Marvel world.

He headed straight to the Demon Corporation.

Upon seeing Kino, Tony greeted him cheerfully."Kino, your ride's ready. Perfect timing."

Kino's eyes lit up and he followed Tony to the underground storage area.

There, he saw a massive black robot.

"Tony, I asked for a warship, not a robot. Although it looks cool, I still want a warship," Kino said, clearly unimpressed.

"Hold on, don't rush to judgment," Tony replied with a smile.

"Demon-class, Battleship Mode!"

The moment he spoke, the black robot began to transform. Its various components moved with fluid grace, as if imbued with life, reshaping and combining themselves.

A gigantic black warship appeared in its place, emanating an aura of power and menace.

"The Demon-class's transformation system was inspired by Bumblebee, which gave us a lot of creative ideas. Its exterior is made from Adamantium and Vibranium, and the interior consists of nanometal, allowing for self-repair and self-upgrading functions," Tony explained proudly."It has three modes: battleship, underwater, and robot. No exaggeration—it can wipe out an entire Chitauri fleet in under ten minutes."

Other members of the team arrived, having worked on various components and were here for final inspections.

"Leader, the warship is ready for acceptance!" Banner stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with excitement. Collaborating on such a groundbreaking creation filled him with pride.

"You've all done an excellent job. Coincidentally, I have a gift for you," Kino said as he pulled out the spectrum of Lantern Power Batteries.

The moment the group saw the symbols on them, they were visibly thrilled.

"Lantern Batteries? Do you have the rings too?" Tony asked with anticipation.

Kino held out a single Green Lantern ring."Just this one. The other rings come with side effects, so I didn't bring them. However, I do have the data and blueprints. I'd like you to improve on them."

The Green Lantern ring immediately began seeking a suitable host, hovering between Banner, Stark (from Endgame), and Tony.

Eventually, it settled in front of Banner.

Banner put on the ring.

A green aura of willpower enveloped his body and formed a glowing suit around him.

"This is incredible. I feel like I can achieve so much more now," Banner said as he materialized a high-precision microscope. He tested it briefly—it worked just like the real thing, except it was green.

"Tch, what a blind ring. I'll just make my own," Tony muttered, walking up to the Lantern Batteries. He inspected the various designs, unfamiliar with most except the Green and Yellow ones.

"Kino, what powers do the others hold?" he asked. In this universe, the comics had been discontinued. Even redrawing them would take time.

Kino explained the powers of all the Lantern Batteries in detail.

"These energies are incredibly powerful but also very dangerous. If you're not careful, you might lose control and become slaves to your desires."

He thought for a moment, still uneasy. These scientists were the foundation of the Demon Corporation.

So he handed the Soul Stone to Stark.

"This is the Soul Stone. When studying emotional energies, keep it close. It will protect your souls."

"I understand, Leader," Stark said, amazed at Kino's generosity. He hadn't expected Kino to give them even an Infinity Stone.

"You say this is a gift, but really, you're just giving us more work. You're so shameless," Tony joked.

"Well then, I'll come back in a month to collect the results. In the meantime, take a vacation and relax," Kino replied with a smirk.

"Wait, I was just joking!" Tony shouted, grabbing the Green Lantern Battery before Kino could change his mind.

Seeing all these new toys, there was no way he could rest now—his mind was already racing with new ideas.

"Oh, one more thing."

Kino pulled out a Mother Box and FAIZ.

"This is the Mother Box that opens Boom Tubes. Try to set up a few teleportation gates within the solar system. It'll make travel more convenient. That's your top priority."

The Bifrost was another option, but its energy cost was too high for regular use.

"And this is FAIZ, formerly Cyborg's body. Give him an upgrade," Kino added.

Cyborg?

Otto's interest was piqued. He approached FAIZ and extended mechanical tentacles that produced an array of data cables.

"Let me access your system."

FAIZ looked to Kino for confirmation.

Kino nodded. "Go ahead. He's your new tech support now."

Otto didn't object. But the deeper he looked into FAIZ's programming, the darker his expression became.

"Leader… which genius wrote this code?" Otto asked, struggling to stay composed.

Kino smirked. "I did."

"…You did… Oh! Leader! It's… very innovative! For example… uh…" Otto stammered, quickly changing his tone.

But as he kept reading, his face twisted in pain. The code was so bad, he couldn't even lie about its quality.

Hank and Killian came over out of curiosity. After a quick glance, they winced.

Otto was being polite.

"Hahaha! Kino, want me to give you coding lessons? My twelve-year-old self wrote cleaner code than this," Tony mocked mercilessly.

"You really never learn your lesson, do you?" Kino said, snapping his fingers.

A cloud of red and pink smoke engulfed Tony and Otto.

Cough cough "Not again… and this time it smells like chili…"

"Alright, you guys take your time. I'm out," Kino said, retracting the warship before vanishing.

Quote of the Chapter:"Genius is not just in creating the impossible, but in recognizing the laughable mistakes along the way."
