Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Soul Transmigration to Another World, System Activated

"Where am I?"

Aiden slowly opened his eyes, staring blankly at the bright and spacious Great Hall around him.

The air was filled with chatter from a crowd of students in wizard robes.

"It's so noisy… and what is this? Some kind of cosplay?" His confused gaze swept over the hall.

"Wait a second—are those Hogwarts robes?"

His mind was foggy, but Aiden instantly recognized them.

As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, he had secretly collected full sets of Hogwarts uniforms from all four Houses.

So, he could easily identify the Hufflepuff robes worn by the group nearby.

Yet, the longer he looked, the stranger it felt.

Why… does everyone look foreign?

As the dizziness faded, a sudden stabbing pain hit his head.

His face went pale, and his expression twisted in discomfort.

"What's wrong, Aiden?" The voice came from beside him.

A tall, handsome boy with a warm smile leaned closer. He had an easygoing air about him — his sunny expression making him seem almost unreal.

A few crumbs from the pumpkin pasty in his hand clung to his lips, yet it somehow made him look even more genuine.

Seeing that familiar face, Aiden's headache eased slightly.

"Cedric…" he murmured instinctively.

The name slipped from his lips naturally — familiar yet strange.

His body seemed to know this person, but his mind didn't.

Then, like a floodgate bursting open, fragments of memory surged into his head.

The moment he spoke Cedric's name, flashes of blurry images appeared — scenes, emotions, and voices — all blending together until they became painfully clear.

He looked at Cedric Diggory again, a strange mix of familiarity and confusion in his eyes.

Clutching his head, Aiden felt his own memories clashing violently with another's — the soul that had once belonged to this body.

"Are you alright, Aiden? Should I take you to the Hospital Wing?" Cedric asked, his voice filled with concern, completely forgetting about the half-eaten pasty in his hand.

"I'm fine, Cedric."

The words came out automatically, as if he'd said them a thousand times before.

Who am I?

Aiden… or Weisi Lamileisi?

The pain gradually subsided. His thoughts began to clear.

Looking up at Cedric's concerned expression, Aiden's mind finally settled on one terrifying realization.

"Have I… come to the world of Harry Potter?"

The memories of his previous life didn't disappear — they simply sank deeper, like sealed drawers in his mind.

They could be opened whenever he needed them, though most of his old life now felt hazy and distant.

"Are you really okay?" Cedric asked again, placing a steadying hand on his shoulder.

Their little commotion drew a few curious glances from nearby Hufflepuff students.

"What's wrong, Cedric? Aiden?"

They were Cedric's friends — and by extension, Aiden's too — which explained their concern.

"Don't worry, I'm fine, Jamila." Aiden smiled faintly at Cedric and the girl beside him.

"I just remembered something suddenly. It gave me a bit of a headache."

"That's a relief." Cedric sighed, visibly relaxing.

Then, realizing the pumpkin pasty was still in his hand, he chuckled and popped the last piece into his mouth.

Aiden's gaze drifted upward — toward the Professors' Table, where Professor Dumbledore sat in conversation.

But the instant their eyes met and Dumbledore smiled kindly at him, Aiden nearly jumped in his seat.

He quickly turned back to his plate.

Alright. Focus on the food.

There was roast meat, sausages, pies, bread.

He picked up a sausage, trying to piece together what point in time this was.

Had Harry Potter enrolled yet?

Just as he turned toward the Gryffindor table to check, flashes of memory flooded his mind again — the uproar of Harry's arrival, and Gryffindor's dramatic win of the House Cup last year.

Aiden groaned softly, "Oh great… the walking jinx really did enroll."

Of course, that stayed inside his head.

Cedric glanced at Aiden, who was now quietly chewing his food.

For some reason, he couldn't shake the feeling that his friend seemed… different.

Not in a bad way, just changed.

Maybe it was nothing.

The floating pumpkin lanterns above and the drifting ghosts painted the Great Hall in a warm, festive glow.

Aiden bit into the sausage — the flavor was rich. It was his first proper meal here.

His head was still fuzzy from the overwhelming rush of inherited memories — as if he had personally lived through more than ten years of someone else's life.

Every moment of it.

The hum of the Great Hall surrounded him — laughter, chatter, Cedric's easy banter, and the occasional concerned glance in his direction.

Then suddenly, amidst the noise, an emotionless voice echoed in his mind:
