"Phew... get it together, Lina," she patted her cheeks and, gathering her thoughts, began her journey all alone.
With every step she took, she felt the pressure of gravity increase, and with every movement it became more difficult to climb.

As in the Maze, Lina felt that her powers were limited by the rule of the test.
Her Soul Force was sealed, and she couldn't use it to hold on in case she slipped or fell down.
What about the power of lightning? Lina felt like she could use it, but she didn't see any use for it during her ascent.
