Amanda and Estelle were in a state of shock to learn that the man they thought was dead was alive. They couldn't believe that he had been hiding from them all this time, starting a family, and that he had a daughter named Ina.
Inessa's phrase that Adrian died on the day of the disaster three years ago finally finished them off emotionally.
"Is he alive or dead?" asked Amanda after a long silence.
"Everything points to the fact that he really died," Idan replied sharply instead of Inessa. And then he added, "Although, given what he's done, I can't rule out the possibility that he's still alive."
All the women stared at him, their faces expressing different emotions. But he caught one thing in common with all of them — hope.
"Do they really all want to hope that he's alive?" — Idan thought ironically. Even in Ivette's eyes, he saw that hope.
"Even you?" he asked himself.
And it couldn't help but annoy Idan.
"How can these women still be so attached to him after all he's done?"
