Edmund lay beside her and gently stroked the back of her head. He didn't say anything, but his warmth and quiet presence were enough to calm her heart.
The long trip from Noctvaris to Illvaris had taken so much energy, and the carriage bed could never compare to her real bed. Maybe that was why she fell asleep so quickly, without even noticing.
