In the hotel, Felix Shaw strided out of the elevator and headed straight for Elizabeth White's room. Before he could even knock, the door was already being pulled open.
Elizabeth White stood in the room wearing a sheer long dress, looking shyly at Felix Shaw. When she spoke, her voice was very gentle, a far cry from her earlier fierce demeanor when she was smashing things.
"You're here."
Felix Shaw sized up Elizabeth White from head to toe, a wicked smile playing across his lips. With an air of a man who's not quite proper, he always had a habit of smiling with a crooked corner of his mouth.
Striding in, before the door even closed, Felix Shaw wrapped his long arm around Elizabeth White, "Did you miss me?"
"I did," Elizabeth White pouted grievously, "but I knew you were busy, so I had to suppress my longing and wait for you to be done."
"Tsk tsk, such a clever little mouth." Felix Shaw lifted his hand, his slender fingers pinching Elizabeth White's chin.
