The phone tucked into her apron began to ring. She freed a hand to grab it and, without looking at the caller ID, pressed it to her ear and continued to sort vegetables, using her shoulder to secure the phone. "Hello, who is this?"
"Don't you check the number before answering the phone?" Felix Shaw sounded clearly displeased, not hearing the warm and surprised greeting he had expected.
