Kulkburg is the capital of the Golan-Elsen Province, and to the north, located at the junction with Lantoniyan and Viero, Shallow Water Town has quietly sat on the western shore of Valendom Lake since the Year of Revelation when Count Hardinger established it.
The coniferous forest that stretches from Golan-Elsen to the north presents a drastically different scene here, with large expanses of snow cedars scattered throughout the woodland. Although it is late spring, as the cavalry passes through the wooded avenue, frost still falls from the treetops.
The closer we get to Shallow Water Town, the more distinct the signs of what's called 'late spring' in the northern part of Viero become. The fiery summer shows no traces here, and instead, the signs of recovery are long delayed in this area.
