Isla Lane's excited shout drew the attention of the nurses at the nurses' station, and one of the nurses walked out of the station, heading towards her.
Seeing a nurse walking over, Charlotte Shaw immediately realized it was her mother's shouting that had caused it. She quickly apologized silently to the approaching nurse.
Then, before the nurse reached them, she pulled her mother into the elevator. Her mother was already emotional, and the nurse coming over would only make her even more agitated.
"Mom! Don't get so worked up. Benjamin is already a thirty-year-old adult. Let him handle his own affairs. You and dad should stop interfering. If you don't, he might be able to treat Alice properly." As the elevator descended, Charlotte tried to persuade her mother not to get so emotional and not to rashly do something foolish.
