When Charlotte Shaw rushed out, Isla Lane had already walked toward her car. She instinctively quickened her pace, heading toward her own car and taking the keys from her bag.
Upon hearing the car lock unlock, Isla Lane opened the door and got in. Charlotte Shaw glanced at her and quickly got in from the driver's side.
"Come with me to find that woman." As soon as Charlotte Shaw sat in the car, Isla Lane tilted her head and said to her.
"Which woman?"
She had just sat down and wasn't settled yet when she suddenly heard Isla Lane talking to her. She couldn't immediately react to which woman her mom was referring to.
She froze for a moment, as if realizing who her mom wanted to find, and quickly turned to persuade her: "Mom! Didn't I say not to meddle in Benjamin and Alice's affairs? You can't go looking for Alice, Benjamin will be upset."
