The conversation between Isla Lane and Charlotte Shaw left Benjamin Shaw irritated, losing his appetite for porridge. He tossed his spoon into the bowl and then placed the bowl on the cabinet.
He lay back on the bed, leaving his mother and sister with an angry back.
"I won't talk to your sister anymore, don't be upset, get up and have your porridge." Seeing Benjamin upset and refusing to drink the porridge, Isla Lane was heartbroken and quickly reached out to pull the son who was lying with his back to her.
"I don't want it."
Benjamin Shaw shook off Isla Lane's hand and moved to the other side of the hospital bed, putting some distance between them.
Yet Isla Lane didn't withdraw her hand, reaching out again to pull Benjamin Shaw, "Son! It's my fault, don't be mad, is the porridge not tasty? If not..."
