Alice Turner wanted to say something more, but seeing Anthony looking quite determined, she swallowed the words back down.
"Sis! Are your ex-husband and Mr. Fisher actually brothers?" Not wanting to continue the previous topic, Anthony swiftly changed the subject before Alice could speak.
Upon hearing this, Alice's expression changed slightly, "They aren't biological brothers, they're really close friends."
If they were brothers, her guilt would feel even heavier. Knowing they're just friends still makes her feel quite burdened.
"Then why does Mr. Fisher call your ex-husband 'third brother'?" Anthony was really interested in Thomas Fisher calling Benjamin Shaw 'third brother' and was quite curious about this matter. He had wanted to know earlier but hadn't had the luck to hear an answer.
