Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner had a standoff for a while, but he eventually conceded. He couldn't bear to see her hungry, and even less to see her angry.
He let go of her leg but remained seated closely beside her, showing no intention of getting up and leaving.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Do you want to eat me?" Seeing her glaring at him angrily without any intention of eating, he cheekily moved closer to her, "I'm more than happy to be eaten by you."
As he leaned into her, the mischievous grin on his face grew even more audacious.
"Shameless!"
Alice Turner pushed away the man who was grinning wickedly beside her, attempting to scoot further away, but she was already at the very edge of the sofa. Any further, and she would end up sitting on the armrest.
Thomas Fisher noticed her little intention to dodge him but took no action. Outwardly, that is; he was inwardly prepared for her to suddenly get up and evade.
