After what felt like days walking through the cold strange looking forest Shad Darc decided to rest for a while because he was reaching his limit and so he needed to conserve and manage his remaining energy well.
After all, he has been in this world for about five days now without food or water.
He looked around and found a nice resting spot under a huge tree with enough shade to cover him from the sunlight even though it is technically not hot as it is supposed to be.
Well that aside he went under the tree and decided to take a short nap but he quickly decided against it.
That would have been foolish of him considering he is yet to fully comprehend the scoop of his present situation and who knows what might attack or probably eat him while sleeping.
"What the hell, who even put such in my head anyway." saying this aloud he took a deep breath in and exhaled out to calm himself down.
Sitting down under the large tree his eyes began to dart around aimlessly, looking for nothing in particular.
While his eyes were busy darting around it noticed something unusual.
What Shad Darc notices is that almost all the trees in this forest seem to be abnormally large but at same time they seem to fit perfectly into the forest as if they are normal sized trees Shad Darc was used to.
It was that he didn't notice this earlier but it was that his brain and mind were yet to fully register the oddity of the trees and as he did his view and perspective completely changed.
Because right now they no longer look like the trees he is used to but rather look abnormally large, infact now that he sees this clearly he began to notice that even the flowers and leaves were abnormally tall and big.
Which made him feel as if he has been hallucinating all this while and only now has come out from his hallucinations.
"Damn" Shad Darc cursed out "was I actually in a kind of mind hax all this while or is it something else"
Immediately one of his identities spoke `probably the latter'
"Hmm, is that so?"
There was no immediate response from any of his identities.
Noticing that there is no response from any of his identities he said out.
"Well there is no need for it now. I will definitely get an answer in future, that is if I survive." with that he laughed mockingly at himself.
After the little observations he decided to think of a more serious matter.
Which was to reflect on his battles with the two creatures he has fought so far.
Well since after his battle with those creatures he is yet to truly reflect on what happened in the battles, the decisions made by both parties and also how the creatures truly fought.
For example the bear like creature was abnormally fast for it massive size even though it was only momentarily while the giant anaconda moved to quietly for it size also.
"now that I think about it, it is now that I have seen the true nature and sizes of this trees and plants that I am now able to recognize the true size of the creatures he fought"
The moment Shad Darc came to realize this he can't help but flinch in shock a little.
He was genuinely shocked and puzzled by the truth.
Because at this point he came to realize how extremely lucky he had been even though he doesn't entirely believe in luck but this time around he can't help but accept the fact that he was truly lucky to have survive those encounters.
If he had been a little bit careless then he would have surely died.
Because he came to realize that how he saw them was not how they were they were far much bigger than he thought infact he can't even guess there exact size but what he knows is that they were actually bigger than they look.
"Damn, talk about luck, what would have happened if I truly saw them as they truly were" shaking his head erratically he calmed his wandering thought down.
"let's not think it all that matters is that I am alive and they not."
After breathing in out for while he managed to finally calm himself down and think properly.
" Where was i", Shad Darc asked out
"oh, yes I remember"
Thinking seriously on his battles with the creatures he begins to replay the battle in his mind even though it was not hundred percent accurate it was still enough for him to get enough information and the information he got will definitely help him improve on himself later.
Firstly what he noticed is the nature of there movement he can't really say if they were instinctively using energy flow or not infact he can't say if they even know how to use energy flow.
Well that is not really his concern, his concern is how they move and fight.
With that he should at least be able to train his energy flow in that direction.
Suddenly Shad Darc now has another training to do.
His aim is to see if he will be able to use energy flow in respect to how the creatures moved and fought.
'For the bear like creature it will be on how to temporarily boost my speed and power.
That is instead of actively using it to strengthen himself in battle he will also use it in a passive manner so as to increase effeciency and surprise attack.
'For the huge anaconda it will be to increase stealth and proficiency which will also increase my surprise attack but then this will be much harder than the first one'.
Shad Darc Let out a mental sigh and stood up.
"Oh well let's keep moving I can't afford to waste any more time."
