Chapter 621 - Not right

That pit did not stop expanding to the next morning. On the contrary, it persisted, pushing the rest of her organs down the instant her feet touched the floor.

Even the sun grazed her skin differently, but the one thing that did not change was the fact that Silas had left the room as he usually did. 

It had been more than ten hours since she had taken her dinner, but somehow, the taste of it knocked at the back of her throat, demanding to be let back out.

Arabella dragged her feet towards the bathroom before doing anything else as hanging her face over the toilet bowl seemed more pressing of a task.

Although that did her little to no good as nothing came out despite the nauseating smell of her own mouth that hit her back only seconds after every exhale.

When that failed, the young woman took herself back to bed where plopping her weight down would hurt the least.
