Light as a feather Remus was in her arm. To think she struggled making his weight budge before… And yet there she was, running through the forest while the boy wrapped himself and curled up against her chest. His face was buried into her neck as he wouldn't stop sniffling and squeaked.
"Are you in pain?" she asked without much trouble considering her inhuman pace.
"It is cold and I can't breathe… You are going too fast. Faster than father and mother. I can't take it anymore,"
His small, brittle voice as well as his words made her halt dead in her tracks. It took doing that to realize how much his little body trembled against hers.
"Alright! Alright!" she patted his back soothingly, "I won't go as fast anymore but…,"
"Please, let us go back," he cried, "I promise you, father won't let anything happen to you,"
"Oh… Remus-"
She wasn't allowed the time to finish her sentence. A familiar, silver haired vampire made his appearance in the clearing Arabella had reached.
