In this chapter, I'll explain some important things you should know before reading my story.
The first thing you should know is that this story is structured in a specific system, which isn't complicated and is easy to understand.
The Another Gilbert is divided into volumes.
Now, if you open the chapter list in any fanfic on this site, you'll find that it's divided into volumes.
For example, it starts with Volume 1, then Volume 2, and so on.
There's also an Auxiliary Volume, which is a supplementary volume that writers use to clarify some important points in their stories, as I'm doing now. You should refer to it because I explain certain points there, such as explaining a particular supernatural race and its level of power. These volumes can also be renamed, except for the Auxiliary Volume.
Now, my story is divided and organized in this volume, but unlike other stories, I change the volume names to suit my story and what I see fit.
Now that you know how the chapters are divided in this story, let's move on to explaining some very important things.
First and foremost, what is the volume structure in this story?
Well, to be clear, you should know that my story consists of a "Prologue,"
4 Flashbacks, and
12 Volumes named chapters. Now let's move on to explaining each one.
First, we have the Prologue.
The Prologue, as its name suggests, is an introduction whose function is to introduce the characters and lay the foundation for the "Storyline" of all the chapters and future events in this fanfic.
It consists of ten chapters, all of which have been released, and for me, these ten chapters performed their function very well.
Now let's move on to the 4 Flashbacks. Here, things get a little confusing and confusing. These Flashbacks are related to the story and the background of the world in this fanfic. Since my story is a blend of the Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries universes, the world I plan to create and present will become very complex, and some things may seem illogical, especially the significant differences in power dynamics, supernatural creatures, and rules between Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries. Therefore, this world requires extensive explanation and logical clarification to make the story coherent, particularly explaining the major differences between the werewolves in the Teen Wolf series and those in The Vampire Diaries.
That's why I created these Flashbacks.
In short, these Flashbacks explain the story of Marcus Corvinius, his development, the establishment of the Corvinius family, the long history between the Corvinius and Mikaelson families, and their impact on the werewolf and vampire races, and on the supernatural world as a whole.
These four Flashbacks are all crucial to the story; they clarify many things and resolve any confusion that might arise as the story progresses. One of these Flashbacks, titled "The Rise of the Corvinus Family Part 1," has now been explained and uploaded. I know many of you are puzzled by the dramatic flashback to Alex, Scott, and the others, set 800 years ago, but it wasn't random. I actually wanted to explain the entire story of Marcus Corvinus, but since it would take a long time and require at least forty chapters, I decided to divide it into four parts.
Each of these Flashbacks consists of between 13 and 20 chapters.
If some of you want to skip this Flashback and jump straight into the main story, that's fine too. However, I strongly suggest you read it to better understand the plot later. You should also read the last three chapters of the Flashback, as they are very important, especially the final chapter, "The Consequences."
Finally, we have the 12 volumes, called the Chapters. These chapters comprise the main storylines and contain all the important plot points, including the story of the main character, Alexander Gilbert.
None of these chapters have been uploaded yet. However, I have already started writing the first chapter, and it will take approximately two to three months.
Each chapter consists of 18-25 sections, and the first chapter, "Revenge," comprises 25 sections.
These chapters are named according to Alexander's psychological state or desires in that chapter.
You cannot skip these chapters, nor can you skip the pologue. In short, the story will cover these 12 chapters of Alexander Gilbert's life.
I will reveal the titles of the first five chapters:

Chapter 3: Trauma
Chapter 4: Acceptance
Chapter 5: Move On
