Surprisingly, Lyla managed to finish her task before Felix came back.
Sure, Felix had given her ample time. So much so, that he would have been able to finish the job at least twice. It was still unexpected, though, given Lyla's aversion to basic chores. Felix had thought that she would spend 90% of the time complaining, and only at most 10% doing the work…
But it seemed that the woman could get things done when she really had to. Perhaps it was because of her pride, that made her unwilling to fail at such a basic task?
Either way, Felix was rather satisfied with the result. This way, he could proceed with his plans for the day smoothly. He just swiped his finger over the hallway's furniture, and after confirming that it had been dusted well, said,
"Follow me."
Then, he turned around, and headed back downstairs, not even waiting for Lyla's answer. It's not like she had any choice in the matter anyway, with the favor voucher having been used on her, she had to follow Felix.
