Chapter 279 - chapter 79

Mo Huai had been floating above a certain town, just waiting. He had little to do while he waited for the forces of the righteous sects to get ready. As he observed a parade of armed soldiers marching through the town, his fingers started to tingle. Immediately he darted his vision upwards, "There's..."

He twirled his finger in the air and a spinning thread of purple miasma formed. His eyebrows knitted while the thread oscillated up and down in a high speed vibration.

"Hamar." He pulled his finger towards himself and the thread absorbed itself back into Mo Huai's spirit stone soul.

He grabbed into the air and bulged his muscles as he pulled apart the seam of reality. He tore through space and turned into a wisp of miasma to shoot through that rift.

Back to Hou, in Hamar's body still, he fell to one knee and regulated his breathing. He slowly rotated his wrists, "The use of causality is strong...and that's the exact reason-"

As he thought to himself, he stopped as he sensed a disturbance behind his back. He quickly spun around to see a rift open up and a wisp of miasma shoot out from it before it knitted itself together again. The wisp of miasma hit the ground and bounced a few times, then it grew larger as it stretched and curled itself upwards. It formed a humanoid form until it blew up in a puff of smoke.

From that puff of smoke, two hands reached out, "Hamar!"

Hou breathed a sigh of relief, "It worked..." He stood up casually, "Master, I'm fine."

The fog dissipated and Mo Huai fixed his long pink-ish purple hair, "Hamar, what happened? You had gone to a teleportation ring with a miasma butler but then you vanished, the teleportation ring had been wiped and I couldn't detect the miasma butler at all."

Hou furrowed his brows and stopped moving, "You couldn't detect the miasma butler..." He started to speculate within his mind, "And Elder Future Stillness talked about gaining new knowledge and techniques...my mysterious revelation, could it all be related to one person...my main body will be able to figure this out."

He shook his head, "Nothing...I visited Elder Future Stillness and saved some time." He threw out his hands to the side, "You notice anything different?"

Mo Huai tilted his head and squinted his eyes, he started to scan 'Hamar'. His investigative techniques were already extremely limited due to the disruption of aura but now it was even harder.

In fact, when Mo Huai tried to peer into anything related to 'Hamar's' inner self, he took a few steps back and his eyes dilated. He covered his mouth with his hand and closed his eyes tightly. He circulated laws and healed himself, but he could still taste the iron in his mouth.

He thought to himself, "Such a backlash from just looking into Hamar...this ain't just aura, is it?"

Hou got a bit worried and started to speak, "Let me tell you. I...well, actually let's go somewhere first and explain calmly. There's...quite a bit."

Mo Huai ribbed his head, "I feel Hou had done this before...he told me something, I just can't remember."

That was when something clicked in Hou's consciousness. He was only a split soul and his memories were limited and fragmented but through that clue, he remembered a crucial detail. "I had actually told Mo Huai about the nature of the world before. But because he was a person of the world, he was subject to their censorship which meant that the knowledge of the world was kept secret." he thought to himself.

"But that was in the past...along with my other plans...I should be able to make him remember and explain everything to him now"

Hou switched expressions quickly and put his hand on his Master's, Mo Huai's, shoulder. He said with sincerity, "Do you trust me?"

Mo Huai in turned became serious and nodded, "I do."

Hou took a deep breath, "Give me the Solar Lands...and become mine."

"B-become yours...? What?"

Hou pinched his the bridge of his nose, "It'll be easier for you to trust me and you'll understand as it happens. To quickly explain, you are being suppressed right now and only by doing as I say can you be free of that depression then I can explain it all much easier."

Mo Huai thought for a few moments, "Any downsides?"

Hou shook his head, "Not that I know off...if you trust me."

"Is this important?"

"Extremely."

"I'll do it, whatever it is. You said you needed the Solar Lands? Follow me, we don't have much time before the fight with Yi Sect begins, let's get this over and down with."

Hou nodded, "Agreed."

Mo Huai touched 'Hamar' and closed his eyes. "Try not to reject me, your aura is quite strong. Accept as much as possible."

Hou nodded and let his body relax as miasma laws permeated his physical body. They transformed him into a wisp which followed Mo Huai through a rift of space. They shot through space at a speed which would have been inconceivable to Hou not long ago. He opened his eyes mere moments later and he was side-by-side with his master looking at a large surface.

When Hou looked around, he saw the surface bent far away, it was the Solar Lands. It was a massive sphere of spinning elements which Hou could barely grasp. He touched his stomach, "Master, please enter the Solar Lands and don't try to resist."

His Master nodded and flew away. While he shrunk as he got further away Hou took deep breaths. He squinted his eyes and crossed his fingers. "Going by my assumptions, normally you would need to turn the planet into your own laws using your own aura rather than the world's but..."

He looked back, "This world can be considered half a true world...and with the causality I have I should be able to force it. And with my knowledge on causality having this living planet should, in theory, allow me to generate causality. And..." He looked to his Master's shrinking appearance, "And I should be able to trap anyone inside my inner true world with causality. I'll test my limit of control I have on people inside my inner world with Master and if that works...Yi Sect, it's over."
