Chapter 521 - Chapter 520: The Marriage of Tsunade

While other villages had their Second Kage maintaining order, the Land of Iron only had Ichiryu's handful of subordinates managing affairs. Based on Ichiryu's assessment of their abilities, some mistakes were bound to occur. However, since they were setting off for home tomorrow, there was no point in saying more.

After discussing the Firework purchase, the Kage toured the courtyard for a while. Torifu, however, did not take them to the area where Snowflake and Aokumo rested. After walking around twice, they found a reason to take their leave. Torifu and Naori naturally bid them a warm farewell.

"Phew, I really didn't expect them to be so interested in the Fireworks."

Naori smiled faintly. "It's such a beautiful thing; it's only normal for people to like it, isn't it? Speaking of which, when can Amado start producing the Fireworks?"

"Within a week, perhaps? The instruction manual I gave him was very simple and clear, and the most crucial ingredients are all available right here in Konoha Village." Torifu was not at all worried about the production of the Fireworks. He was very confident in Amado's technical skills. For Amado, Fireworks were not a difficult task.

"The guests have left, and it's just the two of us in the courtyard again. It's a bit dull. Should we go visit Master Hashirama and Mistress Mito?"

Naori thought about it. She really had nothing to do at home, so visiting was a good idea.

Just as the two of them were about to set off, a voice called out from outside the compound gate.

"That voice... is that Tsunade? Why is she here?"

While not a rare visitor, Tsunade's arrival at this time still surprised Torifu. He wondered what she wanted.

When the couple arrived at the main gate, they found Katō Dan was with her. At this point, how could Torifu not know their intentions?

"Come in quickly. You've arrived at just the right time; the Kage from the other villages just left."

Tsunade chuckled. "I know. Dan and I saw them leave before we came over."

Naori stepped forward and linked arms with Tsunade. "Come on, little Tsunade, let's go inside to talk."

The sound of Tsunade and Dan calling out from outside the Kumotsuru Clan compound had caused passing villagers to curiously look their way, which made Tsunade feel a little embarrassed.

Torifu and Naori led the two of them to the pavilion to sit down, and they began to chat.

"Have some tea. This was a gift from the Kazekage on our wedding day. Konoha doesn't have this kind."

Tsunade wasn't interested in the tea; she took a sip, frowned, and refused to drink any more. "This stuff is so bitter, Torifu. How can you drink it?"

Before Torifu could say anything, Dan smiled broadly. "This is truly excellent tea. I've tried imported foreign tea before, but it doesn't compare to this." Though young, Katō Dan's behavior was quite traditional; he enjoyed drinking tea and watching plays, not at all like a young man. Even Torifu, who was nearly thirty, completely disliked such things.

"If you like it, take half of it back with you. I need to save the rest for your Second Brother, Amado."

Dan naturally accepted the fine tea without any false modesty, smiling as he took it.

With that, Torifu cut straight to the point. "Alright, we've chatted, and you've had tea. What exactly did you two come here for? Was it really just for a conversation?"

Tsunade gave an embarrassed little laugh, feeling like her thoughts had been completely seen through. "It's like this, Torifu. We saw how beautiful your wedding ceremony with Naori was, so I wanted to ask if you could also help us arrange our wedding setup?"

Sure enough, Torifu had already guessed. It was a good thing that the young couple planned to get married. As their older brother, Torifu naturally had to show his support.

He immediately agreed. "No problem. But how many people do you plan to invite? You can't possibly invite the whole village again, can you?"

Tsunade shook her head like a rattle. "Of course not! We're only inviting a few clans as guests. I don't want to invite that many people."

Furthermore, although Tsunade was famous in the village and everyone respected her as the granddaughter of the First Hokage, her influence certainly couldn't match that of Torifu, the current Hokage. Tsunade was self-aware, so she didn't plan to host a massive banquet for the villagers. She would only invite the clans who had a good relationship and long-standing ties with the Senju Clan.

As for Dan's side, his family ties were very straightforward, consisting only of a few small clans. Fortunately, Konoha Village did not adhere to the idea that the more guests you had, the more prestigious you were. Otherwise, the Katō Clan would have definitely been a subject of gossip. However, despite the Katō Clan's small and unassuming status, they had Katō Dan as a genius and Anbu Captain, and they had a deep connection with the Kumotsuru Clan. Thus, their marriage was not seen as social climbing.

The young couple themselves didn't care about such things, and Hashirama was quite satisfied with both of them. When the two went to see Hashirama that morning, he finally showed a look of trust on his face—meaning Hashirama had only truly trusted Dan as of that morning.

"Naori and I planned our wedding together, so I recommend you two also plan your wedding together."

"Otherwise, a perfectly good wedding could run into unnecessary problems."

Tsunade nodded seriously. "Don't worry, Torifu. We've been discussing it for a long time."

With that, Torifu stopped worrying about the details and instead started talking with Naori about wedding makeup and attire. Torifu and Dan sat separately.

"Well, have you finally made up your mind?"

Dan nodded, clenching his fist. To be honest, dating Tsunade had put a lot of pressure on him. Because he knew Tsunade's high status, he had always hesitated to bring up marriage. It wasn't until he watched Torifu and Naori's wedding and saw the look of longing on Tsunade's face that he finally made his decision.

"Yes, Big Brother. I'm not getting any younger. I can't keep waiting, or I'll not only waste my own time but Tsunade's as well."

Torifu patted Dan's shoulder. As a ninja of his caliber, Dan was sure to make a name for himself in the Ninja World, and his clan would naturally flourish alongside him. That was why Torifu had constantly encouraged Dan throughout his courtship with Tsunade.

"It's great that you realize that. Sometimes you don't have to live such an exhausting life." Dan's complexion looked poor, possibly from the days he spent supervising the patrols for the visiting Kage. "You can develop your clan slowly after you marry Tsunade and bring her home. She truly loves you."
