Chapter 713 - Chapter 713: Akihara's Talent

So that was what it was about. "That child is already a Chunin, and you've been thinking about him all this time."

"It's not really about thinking of him," Torifu said calmly, "I just think that given our two talents, little Akihara is bound to be a genius. It's normal for him to practice Chakra at young age."

Although Torifu spoke with a nonchalant air, Naori could tell from his expression that he clearly wanted Akihara to surpass Kakashi. Her husband had always been like this—appearing serene and quiet in everyday life, but actually having countless hidden motives.

She had no choice but to indulge him. "Alright. Akihara just finished playing and is resting. If you plan to have him train, you'll have to wait a little."

Torifu smiled and waved his hand. "No rush, no rush. It's only an attempt. Even if Akihara can't practice Chakra, I won't be disappointed. After all, with his old man around, his future is Kage-level at a minimum; even the Six Paths won't stop his steps."

Naori curled her lip after hearing that. "There you go boasting again. 'Even the Six Paths won't stop his steps.' Why don't you become Six Paths first?" Afterward, Naori didn't pay any more attention to Torifu and turned to leave, lest a few more compliments make him too conceited.

Seeing Naori leave, Torifu sat down to drink tea alone. Normally, Amado would join him for tea, but now Amado had started pursuing romance. He couldn't help it; the man had reached that age—he was even a little overdue.

Torifu was only two years older than him and already had a four-year-old child. Yet Amado still didn't have a partner; he had been a bachelor for so many years, focusing only on technological inventions. Torifu's advice had fallen on deaf ears. If Torifu hadn't forced him into action during the New Year, he probably would have remained single his entire life.

"As a Big Brother, I've done a decent job. The rest is up to Amado to step up or not."

About an hour later, there was movement inside the house. Then little Akihara ran out. "Papa, Papa, Mama said you're going to teach me to train! Is that true!" Akihara hugged Torifu's calf, looking at him with an expression of pure adoration.

How could Torifu resist such a look? He immediately straightened his back. "That's right! Do you want to learn?"

"Yes!" Akihara blurted out without any hesitation.

Torifu was naturally pleased to see his enthusiasm. He had been curious about Akihara's talent for a long time and wondered if he could practice Chakra at four years old. He was also curious whether he would inherit Torifu's Crystal Release and Ice Release. Cloud Release was a secret Jutsu that required training, but Crystal Release and Ice Release were granted to Torifu by the system, directly integrated into his being. Logically, they should be inheritable. But one could never be sure; there were always exceptions.

"Good, then Papa will teach you how to train!" Torifu stood up from his chair, hands on his hips, looking like a mighty hero. Akihara was utterly smitten. He wanted to be just like his father, able to perform all sorts of Jutsu and fly through the sky!

"Yay!"

Naori watched the amusing pair and couldn't help but shake her head with a laugh. "Oh well, as long as the father and son are having fun." After speaking, she prepared to call Tsunade to go out shopping.

Torifu, meanwhile, led Akihara to the front of the house and created a white cloud cushion for him to sit on cross-legged. Akihara obediently followed suit, not daring to move, afraid that Torifu would deem him disobedient and stop the training. Yahiko and Konan, hearing that their Master was going to teach little Akihara to train, rushed back from the backyard to watch. Their voices were very faint, afraid of disturbing Akihara.

"Konan, do you think little Akihara can do it?"

Konan nodded confidently. "I think he can. Hatake-senpai's son developed Chakra at three and was a Chunin at five. His talent is better than ours."

Yahiko pouted. "Better than us? Not necessarily. We never trained before Master took us in. Maybe we could have also developed Chakra at three."

Seeing Yahiko's reaction, Konan smiled. "You know, that might actually be true. But there's no point in discussing that now. We should look forward to little Akihara succeeding."

Yahiko nodded. "You're right. Akihara will definitely succeed. Look who his Father is, after all."

Torifu naturally heard the conversation between the two youngsters clearly, but he paid no mind. At that moment, he was imparting the training method to Akihara, instructing him to try to extract Chakra from his cells. Akihara was very intelligent. Once he knew the method, he immediately began to try. Ten minutes passed, and nothing happened; Akihara's expression remained unchanged. Thirty minutes passed, and Torifu could clearly sense that Akihara was trying again and again, but failing. He hadn't extracted even a single thread of Chakra. His brows began to furrow slightly, seemingly anxious.

"Don't rush, observe and contemplate carefully." As those words landed, Akihara's mind immediately calmed down. A three-year-old child's mind was focused on play, so it was natural to feel anxious after half an hour with no results. Fortunately, Torifu's reminder allowed Akihara to regain his focus. In this way, forty minutes, then fifty minutes passed. There was still no good news, but Akihara's brow never furrowed again.

"It's almost an hour. Can little Akihara really do it?" Yahiko was worried about Akihara's health. Konan, however, had no concerns. With Master present, nothing could happen to Akihara. "It's probably still early. It's rare for a normal six-year-old ninja to extract Chakra within an hour, let alone Akihara who is only four."

Thus, the two continued to wait patiently, and they gradually moved from a distance to stand slowly beside Torifu. After another half an hour, Akihara had been trying for nearly an hour and a half. Torifu was just about to tell Akihara to stop the extraction. But right at that moment, Torifu felt a faint trace of Chakra appear within Akihara's body. It was so weak that Torifu could probably blow it away with a sneeze. But it was undeniably Chakra! His son truly had extracted Chakra at four years old!

At the same time, Akihara opened his eyes. The prolonged effort of extraction and sitting cross-legged had exhausted him. But with one healing Jutsu from Torifu, he was immediately restored. "Papa! I think I did it!"
