Chapter 293 - Chapter 293: The Golden Horned Behemoth!

Chapter 293: The Golden Horned Behemoth!

"ROAR!!!"

A thunderous roar echoed across the universe, announcing the rebirth of the creature that had been sealed within the fallen meteor.

The once lifeless planet had completely shattered into cosmic dust, and in its place, a colossal beast emerged before the viewers' eyes.

Its body resembled a lion, with a single horn protruding from its head. Its body was covered in dense, razor sharp black scales, each edged like a blade. A pair of massive wings, seemingly forged from steel and covered in black scales, stretched out behind it.

But the most striking feature was its towering, sky piercing horn.

This black horn was wrapped in intricate golden patterns, and these golden etchings extended down its neck, across its back, and all the way to its tail, making it appear as though it wore a magnificent suit of golden black armor.

Yet, the most chilling detail was its pair of dark gold eyes!

Those enormous eyes, like those of an omnipotent god, gazed down upon the world with an unfathomable majesty.

The viewers in the livestream felt a primal terror creep into their bones just from looking into those eyes. It was as if their very blood had frozen, their bodies paralyzed by an invisible force. The sheer authority exuded by this creature left an unshakable impression on everyone.

No one recognized what kind of being this was not even the God Kings of the Divine Realm. It looked somewhat like a lion, yet not a lion. Somewhat like a dragon, yet not a dragon. And yet, its form felt inexplicably perfect, as if it was the ultimate manifestation of power in the universe itself.

[A creature that devours entire planets no, entire worlds… What kind of monster is this?!]

[It's enormous!]

[Is this a soul beast? This thing feels terrifying!]

[Thank the heavens it didn't land on our planet. If it had, we wouldn't even need the Abyss to destroy us this thing would've devoured us first.]

[If, in the timeline where the Abyssal creature descended upon Douluo Continent, this thing had shown up as well… I doubt even the Sea God could stop it.]

[This is horrifying!]

Countless comments flooded the chat, and almost every viewer could feel the soul crushing pressure of this being. Even though they didn't recognize it, just one glance told them this creature was no ordinary beast.

In reality, soul beasts felt this pressure even more intensely than humans.

Those soul beasts that were just intelligent enough to enter the livestream immediately collapsed under the creature's gaze. Some even lost control of their bodily functions, so overwhelmed by terror that they urinated and defecated on the spot.

Even the powerful beasts like Di Tian weren't spared. Though they didn't suffer the same humiliation, their bodies were drenched in sweat, their legs trembling as they slumped to the ground, eyes filled with fear.

Only the Silver Dragon King fared slightly better outwardly, she maintained her composure. But within, she was no less horrified than the others.

What kind of being was this?

Even through a video screen, just one look from its eyes made her feel such immense pressure.

The thought that such a creature might appear in the future filled her with unspeakable dread. It was a fear that seemed to be etched into her very blood, the instinctive terror of a weaker being in the presence of its ultimate predator.

Yet, she was a fragment of the Dragon God! She had inherited the Dragon God's bloodline! Wasn't the Dragon God supposed to be the pinnacle of all beasts?

For the longest time, she had believed that her lineage represented the peak of all soul beasts.

But upon witnessing this golden horned behemoth, she finally understood the meaning of there is always someone greater. What she had once considered the pinnacle was nothing more than a frog at the bottom of a well.

The universe was far vaster and more mysterious than she had ever imagined.

One could never truly know what unimaginable beings lurked in its infinite depths.

In the Divine Realm, the five God Kings remained silent as they watched the golden horned behemoth.

Though they were not of the beast race and did not experience the same instinctive fear, they could still compare.

Even the Dragon God of old when placed next to this golden horned behemoth seemed as fragile as an insect.

If the Dragon God had possessed the bloodline of this creature back then, they wouldn't have even fought. They would have simply submitted to it.

In the video, the golden horned behemoth floated in the void, as if it had just awakened from a long slumber.

Its massive body stretched lazily, and then it turned its head, scanning its surroundings before locking onto a nearby planet.

Its black horn, covered in golden patterns, gleamed ominously.

The next moment, golden energy surged along its horn.

A single beam of golden light shot forth.

BOOM!!!

Though there was no sound in space, the viewers watched in shock as the planet exploded like a brilliant firework.

A moment later, the golden horned behemoth opened its mouth, and the remnants of the shattered planet turned into streaks of light, sucked into its maw.

It chewed briefly, but though its expression was unreadable, its actions made it clear it wasn't particularly satisfied with the taste.

[What the hell?! It's eating planets!]

[Just one beam from its horn, and an entire planet was destroyed?!]

[If this thing came to our world, wouldn't Douluo Continent be wiped out in an instant?]

[Not necessarily! Don't forget, our planet has many strong warriors. We wouldn't just sit back and let it happen.]

[I bet this monster is just all show and no substance.]

[Do you really think we're just food for this thing?]

[Relax! The City Lord already teleported it to another star system, so it won't come back, right?]

Some viewers were filled with fear, others remained in denial, and some were desperately trying to reassure themselves. Every possible human reaction was on display.

Then, the video changed once more.

In that unfamiliar star system, the golden horned behemoth continued scanning its surroundings. Though there were plenty of planets nearby, it didn't just pick one at random.

The viewers speculated that perhaps there was a difference between planets some might be edible while others weren't. Maybe some contained energy while others did not.

They couldn't see the distinction, but as a creature that fed on planets, the golden horned behemoth surely could.

Before long, it settled its gaze on another planet.

With a single step, it moved through empty space, causing the very fabric of reality to ripple.

Then, in a flash of distorted space, it suddenly reappeared much closer to the planet having crossed an unfathomable distance in an instant.

The viewers were stunned.

[Oh my god! This thing can manipulate space too?!]

[Wait a minute doesn't this mean…]

[If the City Lord could teleport it away… then can't it just teleport back?!]

[Please no!]

[The people of the future are so unlucky.]

[They just finished dealing with the Abyss, and now this…]

[The future is a nightmare. Good thing I won't be alive to see it.]

[Might as well just enjoy the show while we can.]

[By the time this mess happens, who knows how many years will have passed?]
