Chapter 294 - Chapter 294: The Behemoth Strikes!

Chapter 294: The Behemoth Strikes!

In the video, the golden horned behemoth roamed through this unfamiliar star system, moving from one planet to another, selecting suitable ones, blasting them apart with golden light from its horn, and devouring them.

Though this star system contained millions of planets, very few seemed to meet its standards. It was picky, consuming only select planets that provided the energy it required.

After devouring dozens of planets, the golden horned behemoth still appeared unsatisfied, as if its hunger were endless. Even after absorbing so much energy, it was not yet full.

Then, it turned its gaze toward another star system.

The golden patterns on its horn glowed, and a beam of light shot forward, tearing open a long spatial tunnel.

With a powerful leap, the golden horned behemoth entered the tunnel.

Inside, it was as if another universe existed vast and boundless, dotted with countless twinkling lights, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. It seemed to be gliding through a sea of stars, moving leisurely like a carefree dolphin.

Though its movements appeared slow, its speed was unimaginably fast.

In just a few breaths, it traversed the tunnel and re emerged into the outside world.

[W Wait… isn't this our star system?!]

[Oh no, it can come back on its own?!]

[We're doomed! That thing eats planets like they're snacks, and now that the City Lord is gone, who can stop it?]

[Why is our world always plagued by disasters?!]

After passing through the tunnel, the golden horned behemoth had returned to the Douluo Star System.

Previously, it had only been an egg, lacking enough energy to hatch. Though its eggshell was sturdy, its true self was extremely fragile. If it had encountered a real threat, it would have been forced to hatch prematurely, leaving it in a weakened, underdeveloped state.

When it sensed that Ye Cheng and Neptune were formidable opponents, it allowed itself to be teleported away. However, in reality, it had secretly memorized the spatial coordinates of this place, planning to return once it had fully hatched.

Now, having absorbed enough energy, it had successfully emerged from its egg not only that, but it had skipped its juvenile phase and entered its growth stage directly.

The golden horned behemoth belonged to an innately powerful species, born with immense strength, which was why their numbers were extremely rare. All they had to do was absorb planetary energy, following their natural growth process, until they reached the point where they could roam the cosmos freely.

Their growth cycle was divided into five stages:

Hatchling Phase: This was its initial state, trapped within its egg. It instinctively transformed into a meteor, drifting through space in search of life bearing planets from which it could absorb energy to hatch. Only planets that could be considered "worlds" contained the energy needed for this process. While lifeless planets also had energy, they were far less nourishing.Juvenile Phase: Normally, once hatched, it would enter this stage. However, at this point, it was still too immature, so unless absolutely necessary, it would avoid breaking out of its shell prematurely. Instead, it would remain inside, continuously absorbing energy until it reached the growth phase.Growth Phase: This was the stage where it first gained the power to traverse the universe freely. As long as it didn't provoke beings that had lived for billions of years, it could go anywhere. Right now, the golden horned behemoth was in this phase, comparable to a First Ring God in the Divine Ring Master system.Youth Phase: Its power would undergo another transformation. In Divine Ring Master terms, this would be equivalent to a Second Ring God.Mature Phase: At this stage, its body would be fully developed, and its bloodline would have reached its peak. It would have the power to dominate entire star systems. In Divine Ring Master terms, this would be the equivalent of a Third Ring God on par with the Abyssal Sovereign.

Through a series of flashbacks and explanatory footage, the video provided viewers with a detailed breakdown of the golden horned behemoth's species, as well as its extraordinary natural gifts.

[So this golden horned behemoth is only in its growth phase… meaning it's already at the level of a God King?!]

[I envy creatures like this. No training, no effort just eating and growing stronger…]

[Isn't that how soul beasts work too? I've noticed that most beasts don't train they just grow stronger through their bloodline.]

[You can't compare soul beasts to this thing!]

[This golden horned behemoth is practically a god by birth! It devours worlds, and at its peak, it will at least reach the level of the Abyssal Sovereign… that's insane.]

[The Abyssal Sovereign… just how powerful is that?]

[Hey, what if someone were to form a contract with this golden horned behemoth? Wouldn't that mean they could reach the level of the Abyssal Sovereign at minimum?!]

[...!!!]

[...!!!]

[...!!!]

The livestream chat went silent for a moment, then exploded with excitement. Even though they knew it was nearly impossible, just imagining the possibility was enough to make their hearts race.

In the video, after detailing the golden horned behemoth's background, the perspective shifted back to Douluo Star.

The planet had undergone a remarkable transformation.

As the view zoomed in, the audience was surprised to see that Douluo Star had recovered from its previous devastation and had become prosperous once more.

Not only that, but its architecture had evolved significantly, incorporating an advanced soul device aesthetic.

It was clear that Douluo Continent's use of soul technology had reached an entirely new level.

Viewers could see towering skyscrapers everywhere, and instead of traditional transportation, people now traveled in flying vehicles. The majority of individuals no longer walked on the ground instead, they soared through the skies. The neatly planned roads below had become largely decorative, rarely used by pedestrians.

[It looks like a long time has passed since that disaster.]

[Judging by the level of soul technology, this must be at least three to five hundred years in the future.]

[Not necessarily maybe just a hundred or two hundred years.]

A wave of comments rolled through the chat as people marveled at the changes.

At this point, Douluo Star appeared to have achieved true harmony between humans and soul beasts.

On the streets, soul beasts could be seen walking freely, and passersby didn't seem to find it unusual. It was as if their coexistence had become a natural part of life.

Nearly everyone had a soul beast companion, indicating that they were Soulbound Masters. While some soul beasts had gained the ability to take human form, the majority remained in their original beast forms, creating a world where humans and soul beasts lived side by side.
