The matter of finding a traditional Chinese medicine doctor is finally behind us, but the editing work has only just begun. The footage shot earlier has to be pieced together bit by bit. A skilled editor can turn something mundane into magic, but if they don't understand the message the movie is trying to convey, it could end up as a disaster.
For this film, Qin Miaomiao had left everything to Director Zhao during the shoot and didn't involve herself much. As a result, when watching the raw footage, she felt completely unfamiliar with it and had to spend a significant amount of time studying it.
And when she finally met with the editor...
"Boss, can you explain to me why you're also an editor now?"
The boss shot her a seductive glance:
"Young Madam, am I not allowed to juggle multiple roles in life?"
"A bodyguard? A model? An editor? You're taking multitasking to the extreme here."
