Chapter 231 - Sightseeing and Strolling

In the Earth of 2023, the roads were still completely dominated by fuel-powered and electric cars. I used my divine law to manifest a standard vehicle for transportation. "Hop in, wives! I'm taking you all for a spin~" I opened all the car doors, gesturing for them to get in together. "Is this what vehicles looked like hundreds of years ago? It looks quite different," Zi Mi remarked, curiously peering all around the interior. "Hubby and I visited Earth once before, and we even ran into trouble from enemies sent by Little Sister," Enis recalled, reminiscing about the old days.

"My subordinates acted far too harshly that time, please forgive me, Older Sister~" Suōshā apologized sheepishly. "Forget it, it actually stimulated my hidden potential, so it was a blessing in disguise," I laughed, starting the engine and heading toward the downtown area. After driving for about ten minutes, we arrived at a bustling commercial district. Compared to the Earth centuries later, this was the hometown I was truly familiar with. After parking the car safely, the four of us got out to walk. "It's entirely filled with sights I've never seen before~" Suōshā and Zi Mi muttered, looking around inquisitively. To be completely honest, back when I brought only Enis to visit my hometown, it had already attracted an absolute swarm of unwanted suitors—let alone this time, walking with three exceptional beauties. Consequently, I had long since deployed an illusion divine art on all the humans on Earth. In the eyes of the locals, my three wives looked entirely ordinary, ensuring we wouldn't attract any attention.

"What are those people waiting in line for?" Suōshā pointed toward a cold drink shop on our left. "Oh, that seems to be a trendy internet-famous milk tea shop. Wait here for a moment, I'll be right back." With that, I walked over briskly. Arriving at the milk tea shop, I picked out flavors that would suit the three of them, and then used mind control on all the staff and customers so I could cut the line and order first. In no time, the clerk handed me the four prepared cups of milk tea. After paying, I quickly left the line and returned to my three wives. "Hubby, you cheated again~" Enis chided me as she took her milk tea. "Uh, ha, I just didn't want you guys waiting too long. I'll watch it next time," I scratched my head awkwardly.

"This kind of drink is delicious, it's a flavor I've never experienced before~" Zi Mi happily sipped through her straw. "Why are some people wearing those face-covering accessories?" Enis asked, pointing to the pedestrians walking ahead. "Oh, those things are called face masks. The world in this period has just emerged from a virus disaster. Didn't we review Earth's past and future before? There's a guy named Gates who, instead of running his operating system properly, keeps thinking about developing viruses to reduce the population. Well, to us, it's not even worth mentioning; realistically, he's just a villain birthed by the collective karma of humanity. Over there is a large shopping mall, I'll take you all shopping." Steering away from the heavy topic, I guided my wives across the street toward the complex opposite us.

Under my lead, the four of us entered a massive shopping center. Today happened to be a weekday, so there weren't many people around, saving us the trouble of waiting in lines. Naturally, the women were immediately drawn to the apparel shops inside the mall. The three sisters' eyes lit up as they began picking out clothes they liked. "Hubby, how about this one~" Enis stepped elegantly out of the fitting room, wearing a tight, off-white lace dress that made her look incredibly noble and sweet. "It suits you perfectly~" I almost drooled. "Hubby, look at me too~" Suōshā also emerged beautifully styled, wearing a floral minidress paired with sunglasses, looking absolutely bursting with youth. "You look fantastic too~" "What about me, Hubby?" Zi Mi also stepped forward, waiting for my assessment. Looking at her clad in a sharp, urban professional outfit, it felt exactly like I had returned to the days when she served as my secretary. "You all look stunning in whatever you wear. Let's buy them all!" Satisfied, I prepared to have the clerk ring everything up, only to realize that with these women all calling me "Hubby" one after another, the saleslady was throwing a bizarre look right at me. Sigh, I really couldn't clear my name even if I jumped into the Yellow River.

After the shopping was done, I played the ultimate utility man, lugging large and small bags behind the three of them, uncomplainingly serving as their pack mule. "Alright~ let's decide on trying this place," Enis said, pointing to a steakhouse on the fifth floor. "Today we shall taste what Earth's meat cutlets taste like," Suōshā readily agreed. Seeing that it was indeed about time for lunch, I smiled and we all entered the restaurant together.
