--- Chapter 464 ---
Han Yuan observed Ye Ziyun and her close companions as they sat cross-legged, deep in meditation within the flawlessly inscribed array he set on the paved floor.
They currently stood upon the peak of Glory City, a highest point where the sky met the earth.
"The Feng Shui here is quite good..." He commented, casting a sideways glance at the distant horizon. The first crimson rays of the approaching dawn breached the sky, brushing against his face with a faint warmth.
He then lowered his gaze again, his silver eyes locking onto Ye Ziyun. At this moment, she was desperately attempting to tap into the boundless, terrifying bloodline she had just inherited from Hanlong Nuji.
Frankly, Han Yuan was well aware that given her current cultivation realm and mastery over laws, she wouldn't be able to unleash more than a mere fraction of that Blue Dragon's power.
Yet, he consciously chose to keep that to himself. He saw the unyielding determination burning within her icy soul, and pointing out her limitations would achieve nothing but clouding her resolve. Instead of lecturing, he chose to act.
Under the silent, watchful witness of the Douluo Plane, Han Yuan slowly summoned his martial soul.
The Purple Dawn Mist surged forth from his palm, coiling through the air like an illusory violet dragon. As it solidified, the invisible rivers of fortune accumulated across Glory City began to ripple, drawn toward the peak by an irresistible magnet.
With a wave of his hand, Han Yuan led this roaring torrent of luck directly into Ye Ziyun's own being, accelerating her absorption of the Blue Dragon and Ice Self's bloodlines to an unusual speed.
Even so, he knew this was merely a catalyst. The ultimate success of the transformation still depended entirely on Ye Ziyun's own fortitude and comprehension.
After all, true luck is not mindlessly waiting for miracles to drop from the heavens. Luck is a sudden, miraculous encounter meant only for those who are already running down the path they pursue.
Thankfully, Ye Ziyun's own comprehension wasn't weak. While green, she was getting the hang of her newfound powers very quickly.
The Ice Elf's bloodline pushed her mastery over snow and ice laws to the limit this plane could hold, while the Blue Dragon's power allowed her to push her mastery over water law far beyond that.
However, remembering Han Yuan's prior warning, Ye Ziyun focused her intent entirely on extracting the Ice Elf's blood powers, summoning the purest snow elements lingering in the atmosphere.
Swept up by Ye Ziyun's boosted luck, her companions also experienced a beneficial encounter in their own right.
They actively sought out the lingering shards of the Ice God's fragments left behind within them from when Ye Ziyun fought the Demon Emperors and the Slaughter God.
While insignificant compared to Ye Ziyun's new bloodline prowess, the fundamental improvement these fragments brought to their entire being was still massive. Even diluted, the Ice Elf's blood flowing in their veins began to show signs of evolving in a completely different, yet positive direction.
As time passed, the complicated arrays beneath them began to glow with blinding brilliance. The array was no mere decoration.
It was a highly sophisticated instrument capable of replicating the exact physical framework, essence, and even spiritual origins of Ye Ziyun and her friends.
In fact, this specific array hadn't even been made for this purpose.
Alpha had originally devised it to build the Natal Spirit Ring, an alternative spirit ring made to record one's biological data, spiritual origin, and soul fragments so they could use it later to revive themselves from death.
Han Yuan had cleverly modified it to fit this unique situation, using the array's core function to create a perfect hereditary template.
As the physical and spiritual templates of Ye Ziyun and the others were fully assembled, Han Yuan closely observed each of the floating copies, women shrouded in mist, the entities destined to become the Heavenly Snow Maidens of the future.
But the process wasn't over yet.
"Ziyun, wake up..." Han Yuan's calm, resonant voice gently pulled Ye Ziyun from her deep meditation.
Ye Ziyun blinked her eyes open, gasping as she saw a perfect copy of herself floating within the swirling ice mist. The sight left her bewildered and deeply emotional.
She turned her gaze to Han Yuan, her voice trembling slightly. "Lord Han... This is..."
"The template for the Heavenly Snow Women," Han Yuan replied, offering her a reassuring smile. "Nevertheless, they are merely hollow copies for now. They aren't truly alive, nor do they fully exist in reality."
"To permanently solidify their existence, we need an enormous amount of spiritual energy, or better yet, the raw energy of heaven and earth, to fully transform them into true spirits of nature, the darlings of snow and ice."
"And that is exactly where your role as the 'Ice God' comes in, Ziyun." Han Yuan's expression turned serious.
"I need you to utilize every last drop of your Ice Elf innate affinity to draw the elemental snow and ice of this world straight to this peak."
"This can only be performed by you, Ziyun... because you are the future Ice God."
"Only by me..." Ye Ziyun sucked in a cold breath, feeling the sheer weight of responsibility on her very shoulders. Even then, she was never the type to back down from a challenge.
Locking her eyes with Han Yuan's, she nodded resolutely. "I understand. Let's do this, Lord Han."
"Don't be too nervous. Just follow my flow," Han Yuan said softly, his faint smile easing her tension. "I will help you converge the natural energy of heaven and earth, blending the purest ice and snow with my Auspicious Wind."
Ye Ziyun stared at his comforting smile, a warm sensation blooming in her chest as she returned a beaming expression. "Mm."
"I will follow your lead."
While Ye Ziyun's companions remained deeply focused on maintaining the spiritual connection to their copies, Han Yuan and Ye Ziyun seamlessly joined forces.
Together, they began to pull the absolute chill of the entire Extreme North directly toward Glory City.
Thankfully, Han Yuan had given Xu Deming a warning in advance, and the city's residents had already evacuated to a safe, secure location.
Under the disbelieving gazes of Xu Deming and the residents, a dazzling aurora suddenly manifested across the sky above Glory City, spanning thousands of kilometers.
The atmosphere became a breathtaking canvas of purplish-gold currents and icy-blue rays, intertwining and dancing beautifully across the morning sky, a miraculous, heavenly phenomenon that one could only hope to witness once in a lifetime.
At the same time, deep under the Ice God's Palace, Hanlong Nuji noticed the sudden, massive change in the Extreme North. She also caught the drop in luck of the region, but merely smiled.
"Is this some of that stuff he talks about..." She chuckled in amusement. "Well, let me help you guys a little."
Meanwhile, Han Yuan abruptly felt another massive spike of snow and ice laws coming from deep under the Extreme North. His mouth twitched a little, but he still thanked Hanlong Nuji for the assist.
Because what Hanlong Nuji provided was the purest laws of ice and snow without any of her aura, it allowed Han Yuan to seamlessly direct them all to Ye Ziyun and the future Heavenly Snow Maidens.
Two blinding, azure-gold halos bloomed from Han Yuan's body, shining brilliantly in the morning sky.
He clasped his hands calmly and mumbled softly as the first divine halo lit up, almost becoming a sun itself. "First Spirit Ring... Auspicious Wind: Fortune Bestowment and Breakthrough!"
"Second Spirit Ring..." He closed his silver eyes, drawing upon the world's fortune once more. His second divine halo lit with brilliance. "Auspicious Decree, Fortune Nobility... East Wind Emperor's Decree of Eternity!"
"Lord Han..." Ye Ziyun murmured, her cold voice filled with awe as she witnessed him effortlessly achieving what should have been humanly impossible.
Then, seeing her replica, the very entity supposed to be her future self, solidifying visibly in purplish-gold light, Ye Ziyun grasped the fleeting moment of success.
Mustering the core of the Ice God's Heart that had merged with her very soul, she channeled every ounce of the divine force inside it and cried out into the roaring storm.
"Ice God's Decree... Ice God's Seal of Existence!"
The world seemed to freeze in time as her voice echoed across the peak. The icy-blue rays and the purplish-gold fortune instantly locked together, snapping the ethereal templates into a physical, breathing entity.
