Touka's Apartment
A violet magic circle materialized in the middle of the living room, drawing the attention of everyone present. Some stared with curiosity, others with a hint of caution.
The circle soon vanished, revealing Kojou and Sayaka, along with La Folia.
"Yo." — Kojou greeted the many girls gathered in the living room with his usual indifference.
"Master!" — Atalanta's eyes lit up the moment she saw him. She rushed forward without hesitation, rubbing her cheek against him while purring softly, her feline tail swaying happily behind her.
Kojou smiled faintly as he caressed the chin of the beautiful half-cat girl.
"I'll leave those two in your care." — he said, gesturing at Sayaka and La Folia before another violet magic circle formed beneath his feet. In the next instant, he and Atalanta disappeared from the apartment.
Ever since yesterday, he had sensed two unknown presences lurking on the island, most likely the cause of the spatial distortion covering the entire area.
He decided to deal with them before dinner, then return to rest.

Sub-float
The island was massive, dotted with several sub-floats, and it seemed the two figures in question had turned one of the nearby sub-floats into their base.
"Is this the legendary tentacle creature from anime and manga? The one that makes every scene instantly… suggestive?" — Kojou commented, amused and mildly sarcastic as he saw hundreds of tentacles rising from the sea, forming a grotesque barrier around the entire sub-float.
The tentacles slithered slowly, intertwined like an underwater forest—a living wall pulsing with a faint, sticky aura. Some were as thick as a human torso, while others resembled thin probing strands like living antennae.
"Even the setup is perfect… all that's missing is a screaming girl and a censored frame to complete the trope," he muttered casually, folding his arms behind his head.
Atalanta stood by his side, feline ears twitching as her golden eyes narrowed toward the barrier.
"Master… shall I clear the path?" she asked softly, though clearly displeased by the strange stench wafting from the sea.
"No need. This kind of filth shouldn't touch your hands." — he replied in a relaxed tone, though his eyes narrowed as he sensed the tentacles reacting to his presence.
"By the power of the spell words, I sing the hymn to victory!"
"By the art of spell words I vanquish adherents of injustice and evil! This is the heavenly mandate of victory!"
"O lightning! O lightning! I am the conqueror who vanquished a thousand with a hundred, vanquished ten thousand with a thousand, and vanquished tens of thousands with ten thousand. Now, for the sake of I who stand on the side of justice — release bright and shining brilliance, and grant me divine power!"
His voice thundered across the entire sub-float. Dark clouds gathered above, crackling with golden lightning — the manifestation of Authority: Goat, obtained after slaying Verethragna.
The sky itself seemed to bend under the authority he invoked. The surface of the sea trembled as holy thunder roared through the air — not as a natural storm, but as divine judgment.
The tentacles, once lazily writhing, froze. Then recoiled instinctively — as though recognizing a predator beyond their comprehension.
A faint smile curved Kojou's lips.
"Oh? At least they have survival instincts."
An instant later—
BOOOOOOOM
A pillar of celestial lightning struck the sea before the sub-float, carving a monstrous gap through the organic barrier. The shrieking cries that followed were not human — a screeching wail like tearing flesh and grinding metal.
Atalanta twitched her ears irritably, tail shifting away as if avoiding contamination.
"They despise divine light, Master."
"Because their very existence is spiritual filth," he replied coldly, stepping down onto the surface of the sea without getting wet — as if walking atop solid ground.
With each step, the divine lightning thickened around him, following like a solemn procession.
Authority: Goat was normally a force of rulership and overwhelming dominance…
but in the hands of a vampire bearing fallen angel blood — it became a sentence of sacred execution.
He raised his hand.
"Well then… no need to drag this out."
Spiritual power surged, condensing into a spear of heavenly lightning — a weapon shaped from pure condemnation.
"Let the wicked be judged."
With a flick of his wrist—
The spear shot forward.
A clean pierce — then a celestial explosion that split the sea itself in two for an instant.
The organic wall melted under the holiness of the strike.
"Our devil familiar!!"
Two voices cried out at once — filled with fear and restrained fury — as two silhouettes appeared above the sea, a magical tome floating before them.
"So we've found the source of the spatial distortion — and its owners." Kojou smirked mockingly, shading his eyes with one hand as if blocking sunlight. "And they're even mature, beautiful women. Not bad."
