Vlad Jr., who had been sitting with perfect posture the entire time, straightened further and cleared his throat. "Of course. Presentation is important," he said primly, brushing imaginary dust off his sleeve.
Alina chuckled. "I could tell it was yours the moment I saw the bat." She flipped through the notebook, her eyes widening slightly—there wasn't a single blank page. Each one was filled with tidy handwriting and little touches of elegant style. "Oh my, not one page left empty," she said with admiration. "You even decorated the margins."
Vlad nodded proudly. "A nobleman's work must reflect his class."
Drake rolled his eyes. "It's just a notebook, not a royal thingy."
