The twins were whispering in the room. Unknowingly, a day had passed, and it was nighttime.
A knock came at the door. Upon hearing that, Kayla got out of bed and went to the door, barefoot.
"Ms. Kayla, Madam has ordered me to take you and Mr. Kayden downstairs for dinner," the butler said politely.
"The Millers, are they gone? Did they give Mommy and the others a hard time?" Kayla asked.
The butler smiled. "Not yet. They're all pretty polite."
"Really?" Kayla refused to believe it. The butler smiled. "Ms. Kayla, I'm not lying to you. You'll find out when you come downstairs. The Miller family is not just rich and powerful, they're all well- educated as well. Other than being a little biased toward Ms. Miller, they are quite nice in every way."
Since Jeanette did not complain to her family in front of the Yancey family, the atmosphere in the room was pretty harmonious.
Kayla held her chin. "All right, I'll trust you then."
