"So this is the rare Berserk mode… the ones affected has their strength increased by 15% and loses all reason, logic and pain." Zhao WuJi commented.
"Xiao Gang, you knew about this but still let them fight?! Are you trying to get them severely injured by these lunatics." Flender wanted to scold grandmaster. If he was the one in charge of this training, he wouldn't have allowed this.
"Relax… I believe Liu Yan and Xiao San have more plans for this." Grandmaster was confident in his students.
"Rahhh!" The sheep soul master ran straight for Ma HongJun.
"They're getting faster" he yelled as he narrowly dodged a ram from one of the sheep soul masters.
"Oscar! Mushroom sausages!" Tang San ordered as he tried to pull the rest back.
"Right!" Oscar produced the sausages, throwing one to each member.
Soon, the sky was filled with soul masters.
"What is this?! The nine devils of shrek seems to have a flying ability?! Did it perhaps come from the food soul master?!" The manager continued commentating.
The audience looked closer at Shrek Nine Devils team, the only one that could have a food martial soul was that white haired soul master called Oscar.
"Woah, I can't believe the shrek nine devils actualy have a food type soul master. Aren't they rare nowadays? And having a soul skill that allows flying is even rarer" one of the audience whispered to his friend.
"Xiao San, we need to end this match quickly now!" Liu Yan called out as she dodged a strike from the spider lady.
"I'll deal with the sheeps!" he continued before diving down, attempting to lure away the sheep soul masters.
Liu Yan stood near the edge, trying to bait the sheep soul masters into charging and falling off the arena.
The sheep soul masters stomped on the ground, dragging their shoes across the arena floor.
Screech
"RAAAAAA" they both let out their battle cry before charging with their heads forward, but instead of a straight charge, they zigzagged. Attempting to squish Liu Yan between their hard heads.
Liu Yan, startled, almost couldn't dodge in time. He was forced to change plans again.
He jumped forward, and began to create a giant boulder of crystals. Denser… and denser.
Upon release, the boulder shot towards one of the sheep soul masters, launching him out of the arena and deflecting to the other sheep soul master like a pinball.
"Xiao San! Watch out, this is much heavier!"
Tang San was locked in battle of wits and control, the spider lady was relentless. Her hair and his blue silver grass were tangled.
He looked back and saw the boulder about to pass by, immediately following his guts. He let go.
Shaaack
Blue silver grass extended from his wrist, gushing forward and wrapping around the crystal boulder.
Using it's momentum, he swung it around, knocking into the spider lady, and launching her with the boulder towards the the monkey soul masters.
Bang!!
Silence
Members of the mad battle team laid on th floor, unmoving. Unconscious or too hurt to move.
"T-The nine devils of shrek is victorious!!!" The manager screamed into his mic, breaking the silence.
The audience erupted in cheers! Thought not all were happy.
"Yes! I knew they would pull through" Flender yelled in excitement as he watched his little monsters win. In which he got a side eye from Zhao WuJi.
"What are you looking at?!"
"Nothing" Zhao WuJi immediately averted his gaze and whistled.
"Finally, Shrek will be able to have funds for a few months" Flender said but he secretly dreamed of pocketing some for himself.
"We can't take it all." Grandmaster said abruptly.
"Huh?! Why is that. We got the money from bets fair and square" Flender questioned.
"The savage battle team… we have to pay a small amount of compensation to them. Though they may be crazy and battle hungry, they are ultimately just soul masters in the arena. We have underestimated the damage Liu Yan can do when paired with Xiao San" grandmaster bestowed the knowledge.
Flender wanted to protest but, Grandmaster was kind of right. At least it's only a little bit of money gone.
Clank
Celebration ensued for the people of shrek academy.
"That was a tough fight, I almost got scared!" Oscar drinking alcohol, said mockingly while gulping down more.
Everyone was drunk.
"Let me tell you… about my 54th girlfriend, she had such a hot body… might've even been better than my 111st girlfriend, Zhu Qing." MuBai said as his words slurred while leaning on ZhuQing who was also drinking.
"Who's your girlfriend." She flicked his forehead with soul power. Knocking him to the ground.
"Zzzzzzzzz" MuBai and ZhuQing fell asleep. One on the counter, one of the floor.
Liu Yan drank Ning RongRong, but who would have thought that the sheltered princess of seven treasure glazed tower sect could drink so much.
Liu Yan slumped forward and went to sleep.
"Is no one else going to drink with me?" RongRong asked while looking at everyone. They were either too tired or too drunk.
In the end, the students of shrek academy only got back because Ning RongRong, who was a first time drinker.
A few days later, in the main hall of the spirit colloseum…
The savage battle team was fighting hard. Yet five of their members had already been knocked unconscious. Mad Xi was on the verge of collapsing.
The spider lady clutched her left arm tightly.
"We would rather die than surrender"
One of their opponent for the match stood in front of her.
He sneered "Good, just the way I like it!"
Lightning converged onto the dark clouds above the hall, before…
Crackle
The savage battle team was struck by lightning, again… and again… and again.
"W-we surrender" the spider lady was collapsed on the floor, she struggled to even speak…
The lightning strikes finally halted.
"The Heaven Dou Emperor Team wins!!" The manager screamed into his mic as cheers erupted.
The members of heaven dou emperor team stepped off the arena.
"Man, that was boring. Why did we even need to come out here for practical experience when they all fall so quickly to us"
"Don't get cocky and be prideful." Their teacher appeared, he was stern with them. The whole reason they were in this situation.
"Yes, teacher." the team responded and walked on quietly.
"And you, when are you going to start participating more in the fight"
"Sorry teach, I just don't want to hurt them more" said a talk and lean young man with blonde hair. He crossed his arms behind his head and walked off too.
"What am I going to do with your attitude… Fu Tian" the teacher eyed his back.
