Next came Diablo. In terms of pure power increase, it was not that impressive, but it gave him a strange wraith-like constitution and the ability to devour resentment. This allowed Belial to break free from normal physical limits very early, letting him fight all kinds of monsters head-on.
When this trait was stacked with SpaceGodzilla, both his physical strength and energy capacity rose sharply. The logic was simple, since everyone knew how important material properties were. Once that problem was solved through this universal wraith constitution, his growth almost stopped having an upper limit.
Even after reaching a complete form, he could continue to grow. His potential to become stronger was effectively endless. After that came Godzilla Earth.
This brought a special feeling that went beyond raw strength. Within the domain of SpaceGodzilla, it placed something equal to Diablo on the scale, representing the extreme of the physical realm. Its electromagnetic field and Ecological Corrosion, combined with SpaceGodzilla's Energy Field and Diablo's resentment devouring, granted him true domain-level abilities.
This pushed his microscopic control to a completely new level. Other minor skills were also greatly enhanced, and it gave his consciousness the ability to unify the body formed from devoured resentment. At this point, a small cycle had already formed.
One was physical, one was mystical physics, and one was purely mystical, all coordinated through SpaceGodzilla. At that time the effects were not yet obvious. The real transformation began when Belial entered the Abyss and started devouring everything in sight.
SpaceGodzilla combined with Godzilla Earth's Ecological Corrosion gave him the ability to spread across an entire planet-scale Divine Kingdom in a short time. Then Diablo allowed him to swallow it all completely. This was not just an increase in energy levels.
By devouring massive amounts of Dark Power and resentment, things tied to time and the soul, he triggered hidden higher-dimensional evolutionary traits of the planet. At that point, Belial could be seen as having stepped onto the path of a star-devouring Godzilla Earth, whether he liked it or not.
Someday, he would transform into an even higher existence, like the void wings of a star devourer, similar to Gold. This process should have taken an extremely long time, but unreasonable amounts of devoured resentment and Dark Power accelerated it by who knew how many years. It was as if darkness and Space together gave a planet the ability to level up at extreme speed.
Belial had already shown signs of breaking free from normal rules earlier. Perhaps the origin of abilities like Black Mist Form lay here. Finally came End Godzilla.
To be honest, compared to the flashy settings of the others, the skills and traits of The End were plain and direct. Yet that simplicity carried a very straightforward kind of power. The most obvious feature was the g-particles, like small perpetual engines, granting nearly infinite stamina and terrifying energy and breath.
In essence, this was already a special form that transcended normal physical limits. Once this trait joined the cycle formed by the previous three, those infinite engines began to multiply at an astonishing rate. What it gave Belial was not just more energy reserves.
More importantly, it became the fuel that pushed the other three through the final step of evolution. Within the outer domain formed by the violent storm he had built himself, rules began to manifest bit by bit. Countless Laws spread outward from him, setting boundaries and forming a realm that belonged only to him.
They surged out like an army, leaving his mark everywhere before quickly returning into his body. Things he once barely understood now seemed a little more White Tier to him. He murmured to himself, trying to grasp what he was sensing.
"These seem like mechanisms. Are they the basic rules that make up the universe, or physical laws?" "Why do I even have this? Or rather, why can I only grasp it now?"
Things like mass energy conversion, the four fundamental forces, or even strange methods like mushroom clouds felt easy for him to use. He did not need much energy at all, just a light push on the right pivot, and he could ignite a star or slowly force it into an early red giant phase. He could also reject such rules entirely.
He could flip gravity so apples flew upward, make fire cold and water hot. As he realized this, Belial understood that he had used such power before. SpaceGodzilla's triple flight speed and many skills were based on this, but he had only ever touched the surface.
Even when he refined things down to a microscopic level, it was just grinding early skills to a high Proficient level. He had never recognized the essence behind them. Even now, he was only beginning to understand.
Because this power felt absurd, Belial quickly started checking which template had given it to him. If it had this ability, why had he never seen it in the movies? His first suspicion was the planetary one, since many skills were directly linked to fundamental forces.
Later he discovered that while there was a connection, the deeper source was something he did not expect. It was his very first template, SpaceGodzilla. He muttered in disbelief.
"No, if you had this, how did you get blown up in the Heisei Era? Let me think, which part of you even does this?" "If you could do this with Space, you could just point a finger and delete the Heisei Era. Why did the movie show you getting beaten like that?"
After digging through his memories, Belial made a strange face. If he was not mistaken, it came from a line of setting that barely got mentioned. He complained bitterly at the thought.
"What kind of System panel is this? You really nitpick the wording this hard?" "'Master the universe Laws.' I thought that was just empty boasting for the Heisei Era, and you made it real, with no limits?"
Thinking about that single vague line about using universal Laws to fight, Belial felt it was ridiculous. Maybe his current state existed because of that. If it said universe, then fine, just bundle the entire universe Laws together.
Perhaps he had shown this trait long ago, the ability to easily grasp all kinds of power without backlash. If this were an early crossover protagonist, it would be like being born with a star creation simulator. Now, with his other three templates stacked on top, he had evolved Space itself to a height even its original complete form never reached.
Starting from simple Gravity Manipulation, then to altering physical properties like light-speed flight, it continued to ascend. It had already expanded into an outer domain formed purely by himself. A complete and flawless logic from another universe unfolded here.
This was entirely different from the broken and mostly dormant Laws of the current World. It was like the perfection born at the beginning of a cosmic big bang. Countless laws and principles merged into a single existence, carrying star rivers within it as if another universe were slowly incubating.
In such a state, even the Mark of Finality inside him was firmly suppressed. This was the beginning of the story, and no ending was allowed to interfere. In an instant, Belial saw nothing before him.
Neither the distant World nor the empty Void beneath his feet remained visible. Before he could understand what he was seeing, he suddenly sank downward. It felt like being forced offline, abruptly returned to solid ground.
Still, he remembered what he had seen. Beside him was an eggshell covered in Crack, nurturing something unknown. In one place was a half-incubated egg, equally matched, hatching something pitch black.
Threads extended downward, connecting to countless Shard fragments. His intuition told Belial that there was even more to see. But he had already fallen back, and in a dazed state, he slipped once again into deep sleep.
Even though they could not fully understand it, no one really knew why Belial went out of his way to become a god. Still, Ham and the others made up their minds that they had to find a way to lure God of Darkness out and beat it first. From their point of view, that problem could not be ignored any longer.
However, the last time God of Darkness had probably been scared off by the absurd combination of The End and Belial, so dragging that coward back out was clearly going to be even harder than before. Searching for it across the entire Abyssal Void Sea would be like looking for a needle in the ocean, and if it did not want to show itself, then it simply could not be found. After all, it was essentially an incarnation of Dark Power and existed everywhere at once.
Unless there was a reason it absolutely could not refuse. For example, the union of light and darkness to complete itself was something God of Darkness could never turn down. That was the very meaning of its birth, so refusal was impossible.
