The first thing needed was the complete opposite half of darkness, namely the Sun. When Ham carefully retrieved the outer shell of Daylight Divine Kingdom, his hand was burned for a moment and he almost dropped it. After taking a closer look at what Belial had turned this Divine Kingdom into, he was genuinely so shocked that he nearly let go.
"My god, a Sun!"
"What are you making such a fuss about? Of course this Daylight Divine Kingdom is a Sun."
"Look at it yourself."
Faced with Ham suddenly freaking out, Bella mocked him without mercy and said that if it was not a Sun, then what else could it be. Ham said nothing more and simply handed over the Divine Kingdom in his hands, letting her see for herself.
When Bella took it, the Daylight Divine Kingdom had been compressed down to about the size of a fist. She casually scanned it a few times with her built-in detection systems, and then her hand also began to tremble. "It really is a Sun?"
From Bella's perspective, after observing the energy reactions inside through an unknown barrier, the only thing she could compare it to was a Sun. Not the one hanging in the sky worshiped as God of Light, but the kind that made up more than ninety-nine percent of the mass of the Solar System. It released billions of units of energy every second, had gravity strong enough to bind planets into a system, and converted millions of tons of mass every moment.
Even though it had been compressed to a size that could be held in the hand without issue, its mass obviously could not compare to a real Sun. Still, aside from mass and volume, in every other respect it was a genuine star, just with much higher density. Now it lay quietly in her palm, releasing only light with no heat leakage at all, docile to an absurd degree, and it was impossible not to be stunned.
Ham was the first to marvel at the completeness of the rules inside. This was complete, containing the rules needed to form a shining cosmic star like a Sun. Long ago, the rules sufficient to form such a star had already been dismantled by Crimson God, especially that unlucky one who got stuck in a wall and was almost torn apart, and even now it had not fully recovered.
A newborn, complete star was being pinched in their hands. The rules contained within it were so rich that just taking them apart would be enough to recreate several Crimson God. It could even directly replace the one still stuck in the wall without any problem.
Bella was mainly astonished that she was holding such a thing, and at the energy reactions inside it. This was a real star, just smaller in scale, but not inferior in any other aspect. If she tore out her internal power furnace and installed this instead, she could even use it as the core of some grand ritual setup, and she noticed that this Divine Kingdom even deliberately left multiple output ports.
In other words, this was not just a tiny star, but also a Dyson sphere that could be used at any time. Just opening the ports and releasing the concentrated energy would be enough to barbecue everyone on The Continent with ease. The thought alone was terrifying.
"Quick, analyze the information. This should be the result of Belial's modifications, so he must have left something like instructions behind."
Ham reacted first, and Bella nodded and began searching for information at high speed. The information turned out to be very direct, engraved plainly on the inner wall.
"Uh, I think I figured it out. This is something Belial left for us, for self protection while he is asleep and does not have the spare capacity to guard us."
"Self protection?"
Bella could not understand for the moment what kind of enemy would require using a Sun. Almost all dangers had already been smashed flat by Belial, so what else could threaten them?
"If I am not mistaken, what is inside includes leftover soul fragments from when Belial was looking for fuel for the Holy Sword. There are also some ruin Shard fragments from the Divine Kingdom, and a few of them look very familiar."
"In fact, it should also include the tens of billions of tons of material I dug out earlier. No wonder the request was so strange. It was all to make this thing, and it even has built-in mass energy conversion."
Ham took a closer look and felt something was off. Aside from the remains of those Crimson God that Belial had completely killed, a few fragments looked suspiciously like decay itself.
The Sun stored inside the Daylight Divine Kingdom was not just a small toy Belial left behind for his teammates' self defense. It was also his first creation using complete cosmic Laws level principles. The process was like drilling wood to make fire, extremely simple, far simpler than Belial had imagined.
First, you needed something to start the fire, such as leftover fragments that had not been fully consumed, or the pile of Rodan Shard fragments left in space. They acted like dry grass, feathers, and tinder. Then you directly used molecular motion plus mass energy conversion to ignite everything, releasing all the energy while completely constraining it within the defined space.
Not a single trace was allowed to leak out. It could even be done so that only light was released, with almost no heat. After that, you compressed the overall scale a bit, without using any special force, just like resizing an image with a light swipe.
Then you input your own energy along with part of Investment g particles, let it form a stable scale, casually open the fridge, shove it inside, and close the door. Just like that, a simplified Divine Kingdom Dyson sphere was finished.
Where was the difficulty in this? Was it the massive energy of the Sun itself? Not really. To be honest, pure energy levels no longer meant much to Belial, especially since his g particles already functioned like a perpetual engine. Once he grasped complete cosmic principles, even just at the beginner stage, he could do many unbelievable things.
Stuffing a Sun into such a small space was nothing. If he returned to the universe he remembered, he could casually flick the Sun in the Solar System like marbles, or toss black hole accretion disks around like frisbees. To do that, he would not need huge energy, just a fulcrum and enough force to move the lever, and then flip the rules that said he could not do it from ON to OFF.
As for reason, he was the reason. This was not excessive, it was simply that Belial had finally understood how his abilities were meant to be used. He found the grip and trigger on the rocket launcher in his hands and turned from a pure numbers monster into a monster with both numbers and mechanics.
After thinking it over, Ham and the others felt this was not that outrageous. From the many complete rules Belial had briefly shown before, if he could always use them and truly turn them into Authority, he would have cleared everything long ago. Normally he relied only on passive effects and raw stats, like turning off all his skills and buffs and leaving only basic attacks and damage reduction, which was already absurd enough.
In short, everyone had gotten used to Belial's straightforward style after seeing it for so long. Only now did they suddenly remember that the original style of this World was full of mechanism based monsters. Belial was the one whose style had been abnormal.
Now, the bug had finally been fixed in this version. They had corrected the equally absurd mechanics that Belial should have had all along, solving the problem of his previous lack of power. Just throwing the Sun in their hands, or using it like a hammer to swing at someone, Ham was confident he could beat some Crimson God into dust.
With the passive mass energy conversion dealing absolute damage, the ridiculous density, and Belial's unreasonable passive bonuses, getting grazed meant death and touching it meant injury. It was terrifyingly effective.
"But what can we even do with this in our hands? It feels kind of useless."
Bella thought for a moment, then spoke a sentence that hit Ham right back to normal. She seemed to be right, since there really was no enemy that required using such a super weapon. Outside the World, all Crimson God except God of Darkness had already been killed by Belial, and if God of Darkness dared to show itself, Belial would probably wake up and kill it immediately.
Inside the World, small fry like Elfido would be overkill targets. At the very least, Bella, Ham, and Lilith could all kill that one in a one on one fight. Using a Sun there would be like bombing your own home. Elfido would definitely be gone, but The Continent might not survive, and not being torn into pieces by Rend would count as a win.
"Then let me see who should use this. I cannot use it, and letting it sit around with no one able to use it annoys me even more."
After thinking briefly, Ham casually tossed the thing upward into the air.
"Ah!"
"What was that? Who is trying to hurt me?"
