Then she turned on Scarlet.
"And you were pretty happy sitting there holding her hand while she got railed from behind, cheering her on and calling it art."

"Wait." Scarlet's head came back around and the grin was all the way returned. "Wait, I remember you clearly now. You're the one who runs her mouth like that all day and then gets folded in half the second Kaiden-"

Calypso had laughed so hard that she went over the back of her folding chair, and she stayed down there, because the angle turned out to be interesting.
Alexandra was giggling behind her palms.
"Alright, that's enough." Aria spoke up, cold authority overriding her usual honeyed voice. After all, she wasn't speaking to Kaiden now. "Luna, sit down. There are people in here who don't have to love you."
