After speaking, still feeling it's not enough, Nicole looked deeply at Jose Floyd and added: "Whether it's the past or the future, I want to be the number one in your heart. Jose Floyd, I want you to have only me in your heart for life. I want the name Nicole to become an inescapable shackle for you, allowing me to be free and wilful in your world."
This sentence she had spoken before. After he brought her back to the Manor Estate, she pointed to his left heart and declared this with resounding certainty, giving him a moment of shock and a lifetime of unforgettable.
Jose Floyd's eyes and heart were fully occupied by Nicole, whether it was her from back then or her now, she could easily shake his heart with a single sentence.
Jose Floyd's long fingers tightened their grip around her delicate fingers nestled in his palm, his gaze deep and gentle, "You've achieved it."
She truly became the number one in his heart; regardless of the past or present, there was always only her.
