"When did this start?" Watt Bennet pressed on.
Marshall Quinn thought for a moment and said, "About seven or eight days ago."
There was silence on Watt's end, then he barked roughly, "She hasn't been to the company for seven or eight days, and you didn't think to call me?"
His shouting was quite fierce, leaving Marshall Quinn stunned.
"But Miss Sutton arranged everything at the company before she left and told us not to worry about her. I thought, I thought she was just going out for a walk." Marshall awkwardly explained.
"Did she say where she was going?" Watt demanded.
Marshall shook his head.
Unable to get any answers, Watt grew irritable.
He hung up the phone, tossed it aside, and his expression turned even grimmer as he called Summer Sutton.
The call didn't connect, and when the number was dialed, it only resulted in an automated voice informing him that the number was temporarily unreachable.
