Melody Parker cleared her throat and stood up again.
She signaled for Benjamin Parker to stop talking and shouted at the courtyard once more, "Adrian Davies, when I was pregnant with twins you weren't there, and you were upset about it for a long time. And yet, didn't you always say you'd be by my side when I'm pregnant again?"
The more Melody Parker spoke, the sadder the expression on her face became, and the angrier she grew, "So what? Now I'm pregnant with the baby you've been longing for, and you plan to ignore us again?"
Having said so much without drawing Adrian Davies out, Melody Parker furiously threatened, "Fine, if you won't care, then there are plenty of people who want to!"
Melody Parker looked hopefully at the rooms in the courtyard, wishing that her words would bring out the petty, jealous, and domineering man.
Yet there was still no movement.
