"If I can't have children, would you still be willing to marry me?"
Oliver Lee didn't even hesitate before nodding in agreement.
"I would!"
He knew she had many secrets, her family, her past, and even why she ended up on that island that day were mysteries unsolved.
But as long as she didn't tell, he wouldn't ask.
Everyone has secrets, right?
He didn't care about her past, he only cared about whether she could stay by his side.
"Being with me means you won't have children."
Iris Harris said softly.
"I don't mind at all." Oliver Lee smiled brightly, though he looked ordinary, his smile was exceptionally sunny, like a big boy, "We'll just treat little Stone as our own child. Once Mr. Hyde cures little Stone's illness, we'll live as a family like this!" After pausing, Oliver couldn't help but glance at her, hesitating as he asked, "Emma, do you… not want to marry me anymore?"
Iris Harris quickly shook her head: "No! Why would you think that?"
