Hannah Rulin greeted everyone warmly. She hadn't been this happy in a long time, her face's wrinkles seemingly filled with a cheerful smile.
"Emma, let's take our seats too."
Oliver Lee said.
"Okay."
Iris Harris nodded with a smile and followed Oliver Lee inside.
The people seated were both locals and relatives of the Lee family. The neighbors were all familiar and quickly engaged in conversation, creating a lively atmosphere.
As they were eating, Hannah Rulin suddenly received a call.
"What?!"
She couldn't help but exclaim, her expression changing dramatically.
Iris Harris noticed her expression and felt a pang in her heart.
"Mom, what's wrong?"
Oliver Lee pulled Hannah Rulin over and asked quietly.
"The hospital called," Hannah Rulin said softly, "asking us to bring Little Stone back."
"Why?" Oliver Lee was taken aback.
"The hospital said... said Mr. Hyde's sponsorship for Little Stone ends today..."
Iris Harris, listening nearby, also turned pale.
