"You will meet someone you truly like in the future, Emily. Don't make a scene."
"But the person I like is you!" Emily Dormer sobbed, "Brandan, can't you understand my feelings for you?"
Brandan Hyde furrowed his brows slightly, "I won't be able to like anyone else but her in this lifetime."
His words were so heartless that they made Emily Dormer's tears fall even more fiercely.
Brandan Hyde glanced at the time, not wanting to entangle with her any further, and called his assistant to come up and take Emily Dormer home.
Leaving Emily's cries behind him, Brandan Hyde made a phone call to Iris Harris.
"Brandan?"
Very soon, the gentle voice of Iris Harris came through the phone.
"What do you want for lunch?"
Brandan Hyde exited the elevator and walked outside the company, "I'm going to the supermarket to buy groceries."
"Oh, why go to all that trouble," Iris Harris hurriedly said, "I'll just eat whatever is convenient. You're so busy with work, don't bother to come over."
