Evan Lewis hesitantly looked at Zoe Lewis: "Why is Mr. Left at my house?" Could this be the boyfriend of his precious daughter?!
Mr. Left's attitude was much more humble than at the company: "Hello, Uncle Lewis, I'm just here to hang out. The person Aunt Price mentioned is me."
As expected, Evan's heart felt uneasy. He didn't want his daughter to marry so soon, nor did he want the person to be Mr. Left.
Zoe was afraid her dad would misunderstand, so she quickly said, "He's just a friend. My mom probably said it wrong by accident."
She pushed Evan a bit: "You should go inside. I have something to discuss with Mr. Left. He'll leave soon."
Evan had a lot of questions he wanted to ask his daughter, but now wasn't the right time. He had to suppress his words and stepped inside the house first.
Zoe's tone was somewhat anxious: "Mr. Left, please leave quickly. Are you satisfied only when I can't explain things to my parents?"
