Zoe Lewis felt her head was buzzing. She gritted her teeth and said, "He's not my boyfriend. Mom, don't listen to his nonsense."
"But your uncle said you took him back to meet your grandparents."
"That was to get out of the blind date uncle set up for me."
Zoe forced a smile with great difficulty: "Right, Logan? We're just friends. You only came last time to help me out."
Logan stood up, looking indifferent: "There's no need to hide our situation from the family, right?"
Zoe really wanted to seal his mouth shut. What did he mean by 'our situation'? Who had a situation with him?
He was getting revenge!
"Mom, there's nothing going on. We're really just ordinary friends. He's just joking with you! Let me just take him away first, and I'll explain everything to you later."
Zoe walked over to Logan, grabbed his arm, and started to pull him outside.
Logan didn't resist and obediently followed her out.
